Yeah Barb I need to do that cause I called them and ask since I am a lowes first member did I qualify since I booked the room thru AAA and she told me yes to call AAA and have them add my number to the ressie and once thats done then I can be upgraded to pool view when we get there:banana:

Hope it's open book! Just in case, I'm making a cheat sheet. :maleficen

If it's open book, then how is it a test? :confused3 never did understand those things? a test measures your knowledge, if you can look it up, what's the point? :confused3

Now that you mention it, there's a few houses for sell in my subdivision. You can all move in here.

Wait!

How far away are you from the motherland again?

I feel your pain. :( My DH just got in about 30 min. ago. We haven't eaten dinner yet. :sad2:

Oh good heavens!! Go eat with your DH woman! Quit hangin' around here :headache: Altho, not normal for him to work like that they begged him to work OT we ate dinner OUR normal time...without him :rolleyes1 kept him a plate and made cheesecake for dessert for the boys :thumbsup2 .....'brownie points' for me :rolleyes1

Dontcha just love drs. I got a letter from my drs. office that they will no longer take patients who don't have Humana Gold or Medicare. Since I pay with cash, I have to find a new dr. :headache:

Wait!! What doctor/business doesn't accept CASH these days anymore? :confused3 :sad2: Ridiculous.....

And Barb I am missing off your list . I will deduct 5 PTS off that test now . Don't worry I will need a cheat sheet too as I am lucky if I know my own name half the time . :)

:sad2: I knew I was forgettin' someone....but Lori caught me :thumbsup2 sorry about that :flower3:

Hope you got the name of the person who told you booking thru AAA qualifies....it's not supposed to...(which don't make sense? :confused3 ) but if they said it did, then you should get what you were told you would :teeth:

:scared1: Nope I didn't and should have but if I don't oh well at least we will be onsite:cool1:

what is the Twilight series Marcie is talking about?????.

as a Harry Potter fanatic....let me commend you DM for reading it. will talk to you any time about it.
in case you wondered how much of a freakI am , i have had a MUGGLE licence plate for years......

Twilight was actually the series that took the last Harry Potter book (#7) off of number one on the NYTimes best seller list. Based on that and some recommendations, I bought the first one for Matt for Christmas. It's the story of a teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire. Yeah, I know. And I'm SO not an Anne Rice fan, or a scary fiction fan, or a teenage romance fan. But these books are GRIPPING! That's why I wasn't here all evening. I literally sat from when I got home at 5pm and read until now. So now I've read all 3 of them (since Sunday!). And I have to wait until August for the next one in the series!

We were into Harry Potter before the rest of the world. DFIL was a librarian, and would frequently hear about books ahead of time. We actually read HP1 when it was only released in Britain, and got HP2 months early too from there. (HP3 was the first to be released simultaneously). Yeah, Matt was the only first grader in his class reading HP! By the time he was in third grade, the whole world was in on it!

And, oops, he just came bursting in whining about where "his" book was! (I stole the book 3 - Eclipse - appropriate name for this evening!! - out of his backpack to finish). Really, if you're at all a motivated reader, at least try them!

I need my DH to come home :(

He left at 5am and worked 6-6 today :sad2: ....and tomorrow too! :headache:

My husband left yesterday morning and won't be back until next Thursday! That's 8 more days! :guilty: Of course he's in fascinating places like Detroit and Lima, Ohio, but still, he's not here!

I know we discussed this before, but really the hours you mentioned are about what DH normally works?! :rotfl: Well, he normally leaves around 5:30 and gets home around 5:30, so I guess it doesn't sound quite as long to me. Your schedule sounds a whole lot worse than his does!

Marcie, your basement looks great! Bet everybody likes hangin' out at your house.

Now that you mention it, there's a few houses for sell in my subdivision. You can all move in here.

Other than the girlfriend (continuously), he really hasn't had anyone over yet. The goal was to have it ready so he could have a big birthday party next weekend, but now it sounds like most of his friends are between girl/boyfriends and he wanted it to be more of a couples thing, so I guess we're holding off for a bit. I'll be glad to hold off forever!

And, if I haven't mentioned how much the weather sucks here, I'd certainly love to be moving in down there! Did I tell you that I recently told my husband that now it's just over FIVE years until our youngest graduates from HS (wanted to get them all through HS in one place), so maybe he should start looking for a new job now - anywhere warmer - so we can get out of here that day or so?! :rotfl2:

Good night Homies,
Until tomorrow hopefully cause suppose to rain and sleet and hopefully it won't to get to bad:scared1:

Hey everyone!!!

Well started the bro's head......its officially blonde now....

Tomorrow the panther, I will post pics when done!

Catch you all tomorrow!!

Good morning!
It is a nice morning here. I took a shower outside this morning and it felt great.
I got the results from my sleep test and I have severe apnea. Severe?, I asked the Dr. and he said, "Severe!" I have an episode about once per minute so I never or rarely reach the REM stage. To sleep without dreams is like working a crossword without TP. So the Dr. wants to cut. He wants to whittle on the back of my throat and tells me he'll get me a week and a half off work. I tell him that I've been at the job for 20 years and have accrued a ton of sick time so he sweetens the deal to 3 weeks off. I started to think about how this would affect my weight loss bet. Cutting excess fat out of my body? Leaving a sore throat so eating would hurt? I still think I'll try the Darth mask first.

morning homies.

fletcher, i had that surgery.
i think i told you about it.

off to the city.
later, gators

Good morning homies I hope all is well and for right now things are good here until the ice storm hits and you know it would have to hit when I take DW to work:scared1:

Good Morning All.

I am better today. I am able to hold my head up without using my hands.

Remember that mountain of laundry from when we were gone? Yeah. It's reached monumental proportions. Joshua went to school today in pants that are a good 2 inches too short. It was that or leave him in pajamas, so I hope we haven't reached the "make fun of the unfashionable" age yet. I guess I better drag my butt downstairs (now that I can do so without fear of falling) and start on the kids clothes first.

I'll be around today.

Oh, and did somebody mention beef stroganoff? I have a tasty, yet super easy, recipe.

I don't know if the pompous woman in charge of HR for the professional side is still there but I think she's the problem.

Did you interview on the theme park side or professional? I was on the professional side when I interviewed.
Theme park side, which is what I applied for again.

I'm still in :confused3 mode.

Here's a picture of Joshua from Valentine's day. He is showing off his present. He got a tin of Tony Stewart chocolate cars. :rotfl:

TSValentines.jpg

cute pic of joshua - racing chocolate - who knew;) , i see the hidden MM. ps don't turn your back on the laundry...it may pounce on you. Know i've looked in the hamper in the am & there's just a few things, by nightfall it's overflowing...it morphs:idea:

MF - from what i gather losing weight is supposed to help greatly with the apnea...you've such a great start...maybe u can wait awhile. I was supposed to do the sleep study, bailed...sleep upright on lots of pillows...DH sez he's sleep deprived from elbowing me awake everynight when i stop breathing:confused3 . Dr. suggested my huge tonsils get the boot too, i haven't been back in 2 years:rolleyes1 . FYI, they do make different types of the masks; evidently, some more comfortable than others. A company in my area (respironics?) is a leader in the field. http://sleepapnea.respironics.com/

cannot believe i stayed awake past 10 pm (watching idol) and forgot the eclipse...saw it on the news though lol

barb - the clip seems to have vanished off the IE website...big mouse is watching lol. Will try to pull up the cache'd file on laptop later today.

busy day for me; security subscription expired 3 days earlier on main computer (other still say several days; must of installed it later on the other computers). DH had a freakiin heart attack last night, those accusing glances of dropping the ball:headache: . Finally, told him to just shut the internet off:teacher: He's usually so level-headed; even the kids said he was acting like a big baby...chicken little...the sky is falling...left me with vehicile that is registering E too...4 degrees here...i'll get him good later:lmao: . In the same panic'd manner, it's payday, i'm out of nearly everything; must head to store with all the other frootloops...we've got a storm coming...run for your lives.

Hey everyone! Computer is still just putting along. I started a virus scan last night at 10:30 (well actually started it earlier but dh decided he would stop it:mad: ) and it finished this morning at about 9:00. :scared1:

I called Best Buy yesterday about my other computer, since I had not heard from them. They said it was ready, couldn't tell me why they didn't call. :headache: They had to replace the hard drive again. Now they are saying the warranty replaces the computer the 4th time something goes wrong with it not the 3rd. Funny, when I took it in they said 3rd?:confused3 Guess I will be talking to a manager about it when I go to pick it up.

Did I ever mention that the day I took it in the stupid power cord shocked me? Well the previous time it was worked on they had given me a "new" power cord for it and it started having problems. Ended up with the wires showing!:scared1:

Tricia - Glad you are feeling a little better. Good luck with the laundry. Joshua looked very happy with his Tony Stewart chocolates!

We couldn't see the eclipse here, to much cloud cover.

Katie - Can't wait to see the pics. Good luck.

Fletch - Good luck with your decision.

Tracie - Good luck with the airfare search!

Guess I better get moving! Hi to everyone else. Hope you all have a terrific day.

lori - that's horrible! geek squad is dropping the ball.

tracie - gee $170 budget seems low to start out with even on SW, :wizard: for a DING.

Just heard a bit on the between the shows news... Lunar Eclipse begins in 30 mins or so if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the heads up. :thumbsup2 I didn't know about it. (I don't watch the news. It's too depressing. :guilty: ) My hubby knew about it, but he forgot to tell me. After I mentioned it, he said our local news was reporting the moon would look pink. Not at my house. Did it look pink to anyone else?

If it's open book, then how is it a test? never did understand those things? a test measures your knowledge, if you can look it up, what's the point?

You have to know where the answer is located in the book, right? No worries! I've got that covered on my cheat sheet too. :p

Oh good heavens!! Go eat with your DH woman! Quit hangin' around here :headache: Altho, not normal for him to work like that they begged him to work OT we ate dinner OUR normal time...without him :rolleyes1 kept him a plate and made cheesecake for dessert for the boys .....'brownie points' for me :rolleyes1

Dinner was in the oven, while I was posting. I made beef stew w/ cornbread, Mac's way. I cheated & used store bought beef stew. It was pretty good though. I'll be making more dishes the cornbread way. ::yes::

Ya know.... There's easier ways of earning brownie points with the hubby. ;)

Wait!! What doctor/business doesn't accept CASH these days anymore? :confused3 :sad2: Ridiculous.....

I thought the same thing. Finding a new dr. to properly treat my health issues isn't as easy as they make it sound. :headache:

My husband left yesterday morning and won't be back until next Thursday! That's 8 more days! :guilty: Of course he's in fascinating places like Detroit and Lima, Ohio, but still, he's not here!

You win. Sorry! :( I'm okay with my hubby working late, but I want him here at night. I'm a chicken'. :o

We just got that over with last weekend. It started as a couples party. Then only my son's & one of his friend's girlfriends (who is also my son's friend) could come. Turned out my DS's gf got really sick w/ a kidney infection & couldn't come. So, we ended up with one girl & 7 boys. 4 boys spent the night. That was enough!

:rotfl2:

 That cracked me up! Everytime my DH & I really want to do something, we always start with, "When we get Kenny through college..." We'll be broke till then. :sad2:

musings of pui?

Another dumb question, but what's pui?

Hey everyone!!!

Boy I feel outta the loop this week!

Well started the bro's head......its officially blonde now....

Catch you all tomorrow!!

I'm behind. What are you doing to your brother's head?

Good morning!

That doesn't sound like fun. Hope the Darth mask works, so no surgery.

Good morning homies I hope all is well and for right now things are good here until the ice storm hits and you know it would have to hit when I take DW to work:scared1:

Sounds like today would have been a good day for your DW to stay home & fight the flu bug.

Good news! :goodvibes

PJs are in. All the kids would have been envious, if he'd shown up in those.

Me, Me, Me

Quite. I wish I had a decent telescope to have seen it better. Binoculars worked nicely, though. ::yes::

Duh!!! Why didn't I think of that? :confused3
