No problem. We have 4 or 5 stores in the Orlando area but none close to me. I usually go to Best Buy for electronics.

We only buy "small" items at BB....dvd's, ps2 games, headphones, etc...Nothing big like TV or appliance or anything....their return policy sux for big items....DH won't deal with a company like that :sad2:

I hear ya. This guy I work with got a 2007 G35 and is paying...get this...$735/month! :scared1:

 holy crud!! How many months did he take his loan out for??? 144?? :confused3

Heck, my MORTGAGE isn't even that much a month! :rolleyes1

And, I agree w/ MW...your Aunt looks fabulous!!! Heck, I think Ryan has more wrinkles than she does! :rotfl: I would NEVER guess she's 93.... :sad2: no way!!! She looks awesome...... (can you ask her what her secret is....I'd like to know :goodvibes )

You're not going to like her secret...she never smoked, drank no wine, (maybe a sip at Chanukah time) beer or hard liquor and stayed out of the sun.
I don't stand a chance in h*ll of looking like she does! :rotfl:

evening all.

there sure aint nuthin' on the tv tonight.
i decided i liked that ELF so much, i bought it/ got it with a couple of books online and got free shipping, 3 days delivery.
i like watching the bishop's wife and white christmas too.
and the scrooge with alastair sim.

when we go neighborhood shopping in utah in sept, i thought of on our annviersary day, maybe going horseback riding a couple of hours, near a horse farm.
would that be a good thing to do, do you think? I have not been on a horse in like 30 years, i would think they have some slow, gentle horses for unambitious folks like me.

evenin' Penny buds.... I liked Elf too....cute movie :goodvibes (don't own it tho).....

I say go horseback riding....why not? :confused3 Ya only live once! Be adventurous...go for it!!!
(btw...what year anniversary?)

I know...he had a leased vehicle and was upside down so he decided on a whim to buy a new car. My mortgage a little bit more but not much. He's all about status and being seen. It doesn't hurt that his partner makes 6 figures a year. :rolleyes1

BTW...IKEA is now open here so make sure you guys stop in on the next trip down. :thumbsup2

:( Okay, I'm with her on the no smoking and hard liquor....the wine and the sun...well....she lost me there.... :rolleyes1

It's a tough decision...have fun and live for today....or hope to live long enuf and look as good as her IF ya don't have fun now.... :guilty:

(screw it...I'm livin' for today....when I'm old and wrinkled, so will everyone else where I live :rotfl: )

I like Circuit City. Their customer service dept is so much better. Plus the employees on the floor actually seem to be knowledgeable about the products they sell.

I can't stand people who are all about the 'status' thing.... See...my thinking is if I have THAT kinda money for a car, I can get a cheaper car and take longer vacations.... :rotfl: Dude, it's ONLY a car.....purpose? To get from point A to point B :headache: duh......

BTW...IKEA is now open here so make sure you guys stop in on the next trip down. :thumbsup2

okay....first, I won't HAVE a car there (well, I will in Ocala at FIL's, but not while in Orlando). Second, and what am I gonna do if I want to buy something?? Especially if it's big?? Can you see me checking or 'carrying on' something big :rotfl2:

You go buy something and share with us, so we can enjoy the 'purchase' ;)

Sounds like a romantic thing to do. Not sure if you're going to be able to walk the next day thou.

I got my digital camera from Circuit City a few years back but their prices on dvds and such are higher than Best Buy's. I think they all overcharge anyway.

yeah...IF you can find them :lmao:

but I agree....we like CC better....and even bought our 52" tv from there years ago....

CC seems to be running good sales on DVD's this holiday... I got Bad Boys 1 & 2 for only $10 each (they went on sale $5 each, but were sold out by the time I got there...oh well....) Actually, the better selection is at BB...harder to find DVD's....CC has more current stuff and runs more/better sales..... Still, best deal is the first week the movie/DVD is released...at Walmart! (Or later at BJ's)

Yeah...Here's a prime example:

CSI: Season 6 at Wal-mart was $58.35
CSI: Season 6 at Circuit City was $73.00
CSI: Season 6 at Best Buy was $79.99

I can't believe the price difference.

I quit smoking 15 years ago! I'm really trying hard to stay out of the sun. My cousin's husband is a plastic surgeon in Fort Lauderdale. If the wrinkles get bad enough I'm not above paying him a visit!

I hate spending money on something that is only going to depreciate in value. Although I have no guilt on blowing money on a vacation. I've got so many good memories of past vacations. Not to many memories of past cars, except for the car my first boyfriend had, and it's more the memories of what went on in that car than what kind of car it was..... :lmao:

Yep...gotta love the Walmart....the only gripe is they don't have much of a selection..... but, that may change in the fall for me....they are taking my Walmart and makin' it a SuperWalmart :woohoo: woot! And, I'm guessing they are finally moving forward with those plans because there is talk about putting in a huge shopping center up the road with Target anchoring :thumbsup2 (I love Target.... preferred over Walmart anyday!)

Good for you not smoking.... and ya know....it's good to know "people" :rolleyes1 ;)

What kind of camera did you get? Is it a point and shoot or SLR? Photography is a hobby of mine.

Speaking of cars....I got the new 2008 Barrett-Jackson catalog today. Oh how I wish I had THAT kind of money. I would go shopping BIG TIME!

Good point...you at least still HAVE the car...a vacation...well, is memories. And yes, we have good memories of cars and the things that go on in them and where they take us  ..... and DO you remember what kind of car he had?? hhmmm..... :scratchin

I remember the brown Pinto DH had when we were dating..... it actually smoked on the inside  :lmao: Yep...smoke would come up the center from the console..... :rotfl: ahh...the good ole days

I have a Walmart SuperCenter up the road and a Super Target not far from my house. I love both stores and spend too much money at both. :rotfl:

I got a Sony Cybershot...a Christmas present from my parents.
