yep...it's Saturday mac....busy day to shop this time of the year, the crowds will be out in full force! Gotta go 'off' times........(yes, that means you can't 'work' during the week and you have to shop during the 'working weekday' hours.....)

Quick stop in since we're busy doing the wrapping thing! Hey, I almost got all the presents sorted. Does that count as a major accomplishment? Actually got one niece/nephew's presents wrapped. Then did the stupid "go to Best Buy" thing, but it did save $20 on something we bought last week so I guess it was worth it, although we then spent $70.

I also have been having problems with the DIS but thought it was my computer. Strangely on my home computer (which is ancient), if I go to my favorites (which I have saved to the User CP), it will frequently show from awhile ago, as you guys are saying. If I click on User CP itself, though, it will always refresh to the right time and posts.

However, for some bizarre reason, if on my work computer, I type disboards.com, and then sign in and click User CP, it's always October 17th?! Not sure how it got stuck there. But if I then click refresh, it goes to the right time. Really weird! It's been a little slow (DIS), but not really, but my computer is probably way slower than all of yours, so I may not be noticing the difference as much!

Mac - we bought a computer desk while out, so now we're half way to getting that new Mac! We may wait until after Christmas though just to avoid the chaos! We have to order online though since the closest Mac store is in Milwaukee!

Oh, and for all interested, DS14 just got in the ensemble for West Side Story. He was hoping for a role, but was pretty sure he wouldn't get a singing one and there were only a few non-singing ones. I guess he's happy because he's in it at least, as are a lot of his friends, but personally I think it's going to be a WHOLE lot of work for not much return! But he basically says it'll give him a much better chance of getting a bigger role next year, so I guess tha's the optimistic way of looking at it!
