It's bubble bath...homemade style. :rotfl:

Where is Barb? She hasn't checked in all day today. She better come back with a note...

and it better be a good one!
how dare she stand us up again!

i'll get out my green marker pen for corrections.
i stopped using red to correct papers cause it made the kids sad.
i switched to green.........they don't cry as hard now with that color

Hey guys..... (you can put yer marker away mac.....)

Sorry I wasn't around last night but I didn't get home till 9pm. Once I did get there, Bubba was just gettin' to bed, so I had to spend some "How was your day" time with him. We are having an "issue" at school...so, we are working on straightening that out. Then, "how was your day" conversation with DH. Then I grabbed dinner. By the time all that was finished and lunch was made, it was time to hit the hay :(
So, I apologize for not being around last night.....

HOWEVER, I am now ready to

KetchupSmall.jpg
............

a little.....

I bought my ornament today. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it was close enough that I could live with it.

So I don't get fussed at for forgetting pictures,

Yesterday afternoon I managed to take care of this little task..hope to mail it Friday  . During my afternoon break, I stopped by the new outlet mall in Limerick. It was cold cuz they are outside, and I didn't find many deals (altho I spent $50 at the Lindt outlet  :thumbsup2 ), but I had a nice time myself. Oddly enuf, while walking outside to the next destination, with bags in hand, it was snow flurrying....a typical "winter Christmas shopping" scene...felt like I was on the front of a Christmas card or in a movie :rotfl:

Anyhow, sorry to get sidetracked....Tricia, loved the pictures of the boys....school looked like a good time, but not half as good as the leaves :rolleyes1

Celebrating Carol's birthday:
CarolsBday.jpg

First, you have to know, I have already read and been current and then I start posting my ketchup.....so, with that said:

If I were you, I wouldn't steal this poor lady's holiday decorations.... look how sweet she is... She looks really good...hope the new year is much better for her and the family....

(I don't like to bring it up too often because that's real life, and this is a 'get away', but she does look great in that picture....she looks very happy to be with her family)

i bet you are a whiz with the mac and cheese box

Raven is whizzing on Todd's mac & cheese box?

Hey guys.....
So, I apologize for not being around last night.....

Tricia, loved the pictures of the boys....school looked like a good time, but not half as good as the leaves :rolleyes1

S'okay! Good you had Bubba time. I'm pretty sure he should come before we do. Pretty sure. :rolleyes1

And, yeah, nothing quite beats jumping in a pile of leaves.

...I don’t have any lime green crocs.

me either, but at the outlets yesterday, I did see the CROCS STORE! (and...I saw the LIME green ones...stuck out on the wall like a sore thumb! Let's just say they were on the wall at the back of the store, and I saw them from outside the store! ) The first thought that popped into my head: Janet heaven  Second thought? I don't own any Crocs and have no idea of the cost, so I didn't bother going in!

Yeah KATIE where is that Halloween pic.
:confused3

I had Hot Pockets (ham & cheese)..yum! I fixed the toothbrush holder and all is well in the bathroom world...at least until the Hot Pockets want to make their presence known. :rolleyes1

DS14 LIVES on Ham and Cheese Hot Pockets. He doesn't like any breakfast foods, so that's what he eats for breakfast, snacks, and any "you need to fix your own meal" meals! However, we buy the bulk packs (5 Hot Pockets per) and he considers that a "serving size" (the whole box!). The joys of having teenage boys!

DH and DS12 called and are on their way home from Nifty Knitters. Tricia (I think) - yep, you were right. It was Ethel and Mabel and Edna and Harriet - a slew of little old ladies, one older man, and DS! However, he said they were very nice to him and he had fun. The first time we saw this advertised, it was under the "Activities for Kids" section in the paper, so I guess I thought there might be some kids at it! :confused3 Either way, I guess he didn't have to go to Church School so he's not too unhappy!

Dropped the other 2 off at church school, DH and DS12 are doing some grocery shopping, and I'm here doing what I do best: drinking wine, eating cheese, and chatting with my homies!

Raven is whizzing on Todd's mac & cheese box?

oops..........i'm just full of surprises.
you thought i was gonna say sh!t didn't you....

:duck:

well, that rumor is better than the pg ones.
unless they were about the other gals here.

/
barb......i laughed so hard i had tears when i saw the ketchup bottles.

that was such a hoot!

you are so good at getting the best pics up here.

I thought that was a jacuzzi... :rolleyes1

Sounds like something Jeff Foxworthy would say! How do you make a redneck jacuzzi? Eat mexican food and fart in the tub!

Well...I sometimes miss the snow. After all...it's kinda hard getting into the Christmas spirit when it's 85 degrees outside....but....I manage. ;)

It's supposed to get into the mid 40's tonight here.

I'm sorry....were you looking for sympathy?

Tell ya what...I will think of you tomorrow while I'm clearing the snow off my car :snooty:

I remember a few years ago it was REALLY warm here just before Christmas. People were actually complaining they weren't getting their shopping done and were having a hard time getting into the Christmas 'spirit' because the weather was so warm..... uh.... :confused3 I'm sorry....you're complaining you don't need to lug around a big, heavy winter coat while you're shopping and lugging around a ton of shopping bags?

now i want ice cream......it's only 7 degrees right now.
and i want to put on my jammies.......

that's a guy thing :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My son is a whiz with ramen noodles. He also eats spaghettios straight out of a can. Where did I go wrong!:confused3

And, you have NO idea how hard it is for me to not talk about the ornament thing. I want to say who I was shopping for and what I wanted to get them and why I got them what I got them and... and... :bitelip: :hyper:

You can talk to me if you want.... :thumbsup2 (sshhh, i won't tell) I can't wait till we all spill the dirt and our explanations behind our purchases.... altho, I DID have THE darnest time pickin' mine out :headache: Actually had TOO many choices...but, I think I dun good! :goodvibes

stealing the sister's outdoor christmas decorations reminds me of the tombstone i had.

every weekend one of that group would place it in my parents drive way and leave a note. after dad got over being pissed, he would move the tombstone over by the garage. that night, someone would come retrieve it.

and again, the next weekend it came back home to me.

this went on for 4 months. the time it was in our driveway with christmas lights all around it was the ending of it for the parents.

i had to hide that thing under my bed for the longest time.
i couldn't get my friends to stop stealing it back after dad would hide it in the back of the garage. so i had to hide it in my room.

my mother was not happy with me at all when they found it.
they moved to another house and when the movers took the beds, they mentioned to the folks they don't do tombstones.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: You have really GOT some good stories...you should share more often :teeth:

(when bf & i were dating and would 'park', we always went to the back of a used car lot....no law there either :rolleyes1 )

now if i can get about 3 more pages filled up, no one will pay attention to my grave yard story.
and i surely hope no one calls the police on me to turn me in after all these years.....

don't worry....we won't! :thumbsup2

Here is mine. Well, it isn't actually my story. This is one that an old friend of mine used to tell. When he was still in high school, he and his buddies used to gather in a vacant lot to do their drinking. Sorta the same theory you had... they were away from everyone else and never got bothered by the law. One winter night, they were standing around an oil drum burning whatever scrap wood they could find to keep them warm while they were drinking. Scott (my friend) drank way too much and passed out. His buddies drove him home and dumped him on his front lawn. They started to drive away, but being concerned friends, they decided that he might get cold lying there on his front lawn all night... so, they drove back to the vacant lot, put the burning barrel in the back of their pickup truck, took it back to Scott's house, and set it beside him on his front lawn.

Scott used to say that his parents were "less than pleased" to wake up and find their teenaged son passed out on the lawn with a barrel of junk smouldering beside him. :rolleyes1

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: That is a good story too....glad to hear someone had good enuf sense to leave him with 'heat'.....altho, wouldn't it have been easier to ring the bell and run? :confused3 Guess when you're drunk, logic escapes you.... :rolleyes1

Does anyone else use your work computer?
You should at least delete the browsing history.

At the salon, I take my laptop, so I can do as I wish :teeth: (boss doesn't care...she has wireless cable connection :goodvibes )
I very rarely have time to at the office.... Let's just say, at the office, (thanks to them) I have a more than 'overflowing' IN-bin :rolleyes1 ....oh, and the office manager that gave 4 weeks notice (vs. the usual 2 when you quit) and Friday was to be her last day...... yesterday at 4:45 they told her she could pack up her desk, take all her stuff and leave...said they'll pay her for the rest of the week..... Today I heard the reason they did that was to "thank her" for all her contributions to the company. :confused3 Nothing like resigning (on good terms) and then being made to "feel" like you're being fired :headache: What jerks....

Evening all...what a crappy Wednesday!

First....I got up late and was rushing around the bathroom. Damn near slipped but to break my fall, I grabbed the toothbrush holder and pulled the damn thing off the wall. :rolleyes1

Then....driving into work, my window in the car got stuck and wouldn't go up and then something popped in the door....maybe a belt? :confused3

From there...the day got a little better but now I'm afraid the repair for the window is going to cost several hundred dollars....it's never cheap.

Anyway....the weather was nice so I can't complain about that.

Going to eat dinner....might be back later.

Again...I did read ahead, and it seems the day ended better than it started! I would gladly sacrifice the toothbrushes over my butt anyday :rotfl: (toothbrushes/holder hitting the floor doesn't hurt a bit!)

I hope your car isn't too expensive to fix...that is the reason DH doesn't
"prefer" auto-everything....more expensive (and more often) to fix :headache:

I just learned how to knit last Christmas when my mom was going thru her breast cancer stuff. Her sister from Florida who is a retired nurse came to stay with my mom for a few weeks. She is an awesome knitter. We had a lot of time on our hands as mom's surgery was rescheduled twice. My aunt ended up staying 3 weeks. So she taught me, my daughter, my mom and my sister how to knit. It was an awesome experience spending so much time together. We got together almost every night for a few hours. Had a bit of wine and some cheese and great conversation. I wish she and her husband lived closer. :sad2
I've since knitted 2 scarves, 2 felted handbags, and know I am working on a cabled sweater for myself. I'm in over my head on this one. I emailed the directions to my Aunt so she can help me when I get stuck!
:

That's a great memory to have  Feel lucky! I think it's so neat when families can spend time like that together... I am very big on family tradition, heirlooms, etc.... To be able to have the memory must be heartwarming! My Grandma tried to teach me when I was little...i was butterfingers all over the place :rotfl: But, I always cherish that time together  ...and I give my knowledge of "braiding" to her...she taught me.....

After I picked up Joshua from school, the boys and I spent about an hour with Carol today. She tires quickly these days, so I don't let the boys stay there for longer than that. She played a game of Monopoly with Joshua. Daniel ran around like crazy. It was a good afternoon.

Good to hear it was a good enough day to play Monopoly....I'm sure it brightened her day :goodvibes

I'm sitting here eating milk chocolate frosting straight from the tub. I'm feeling that blah-onset-of-depression thing, so I'm trying the quickest cure-all I know. Sugar.

:woohoo: You go girl!! :woohoo:

(especially since you are the only one here brave enuf to admit it )
