Hey homies!
I know it's been a while...it's hard to "ketchup" around here... I've been busy with kids. DS13 could hardly move Monday morning and I took him to the doctor. He was dehydrated and his muscles were all tense. The doctor wrote him a note excusing him from football for a week and prescribed some muscle relaxers that don't sedate him. I told my child not to pass a water fountain at school without stopping for a drink!

DM, I'm so sorry about your friend; that's just awful! I hope you and your friends stick together and comfort one another. It's such a terrible thing to lose in a such a sensless matter.

Janet, girl get out the camera, so we can see your new do!

Gemma, I don't know what that language is you're talking in! I guess it's drunk language.... I'm glad to hear that you've got friends looking after you tonight!

Jodie, funny train/drunk story! You're going to see Mac on Sunday...let us know if she has a margarita with you.

Hey guys. wow- even I cant translate what I said last night. I didn't hook up with anyone but did get a lot of attention from one guy...sooooooo yay! He was hot too! Hangover's not too bad because I drank lots of water before bed..was actaully doing shots of water- only me eh? Was falling everywhere- couldn't stand still. Not smart when you're drunker than the birthday girl! Also, my friend (guy) got hit last night!! We were in one bar, then we moved to another and me and the b-day girl went to the loo, came back and everyone was gone and we got a text telling us our dude had been hit so they've went back to the first bar. No idea what happened. He didn't want to talk about it...hmmmmm.

Loved the drunken stories from everyone. Ill think of a few for you too.

alison - very scary, don't they give them gatorade or some other electrolyte product (propel?). Way better than water when they're sweating buckets during sports.

i used to be a notary for work, all i had to do was go before another notary & pay the fee lol; hated doing title work (gratis for people @ work)...they didn't understand that the tax had be paid.

Alison...it was good to see you....that DS of yours needs to remember to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.... I don't remember such an emphasis on hydration when I was little. I can remember playing softball in middle school and I don't think anyone had a bottle of water or anything there ...my how times have changed!!!!

Must have a def. lawyer that didn't do so well in law skool....pretty lame defense.... Yes, I expect that pic of yer new do sometime by the end of the weekend (givin' your DH time to TEACH you to upload them pix!) Glad to hear you got what you wanted outta her....did you give her an ultimatium?? Yay! Confirmation went well....good to hear. Whatever will you fret about now that it's over??

Jodie...loved your train story... keeping track of 3 drunks couldn't have been easy (just be glad you don't haveta keep track of Gemma ) Hope FUG has been better/nicer lately.....could not stand to work with someone like that!!!

Tricia....hope the dog is better today.... How did Joshua's shot go? Glad they have something for chicken pox these days...even if he DOES get it, it won't be too bad...they suck!!! Oh, and you didn't mention WHERE the field trip is TO today....love those kindergarten field trips....more fun than edumactional....tell us, (altho I'm guessin' "apple orchard".....)

Janet - Being a notary in Georgia is a joke. I fill out the form online... get my signature notarized (HA!)... turn in the form to the County Clerk... swear that I'm a good person... pay the $30... and I'm set for the next 4 years.
I am our "on staff" notary. I have to notarized the tag applications and title transfer records when we sell a trailer. It's cheaper and easier for me to do it than try to find someone else.

Barb - Okay, tat is for the CAR. I was afraid you were getting hubby's VIN number on YOU somewhere. I know some people love cars and all, but that seemed a bit extreme.

Joshua's field trip today is to a local college who's drama department is doing a musical play of the Three Little Pigs. I think he is more excited about riding on the school bus and getting a brown bag picnic lunch than the play. Next month's field trip is to a pumpkin farm, so you aren't too far off base.

His shot went fine. In and out of the doctor's office in about 10 mins. No fever or any reaction to the vaccine.

Maggie (our dog) seems to be less flatulent this morning, but she's still not pleasant to be around. She is on an anti-inflammitory drug at the moment, so maybe that is the problem?

And, yeah, I wanna know who to send a shout out to Mac to. Do I post is here? PM Jodie and let her print it out and take it along on her trip? What's the vote?

I'm confused, isn't the VIN etched into the metal plate on the dash already? Am I having a stupid attack??

Mike.... VIN is etched into all the glass windows....they say a thief is deterred by glass etching cuz it's more expensive to 'replace'..... Fairgrounds Mall on 5th St. Hwy. has it from 10-2 for free.... I think they had it a few years ago, and ironically it was on a Sat., so DH took MY car to have my windows done. It's a nice little clear sticker (w/ blue background) that says this car is vin etched for protection... they put the vin # on the windshield, back windshield and all the door windows... You don't notice it, but if you're a thief, apparently it's not something you want there. Beings we own 2 Honda Civics and live outside of Reading, not a bad idea to have it done...espcially if it's free. AND, we may get an extra discount on insurance...can't remember for sure...will have to check.

You are right...for your business, it is easier for you just to be the notary...good thinkin'!

If you notice dog's 'gas' since the meds, good guess that is probably the problem!
