:rotfl2: you'll fit in just fine with us

... our anniversary is Oct 31st and we always make HHN a part of our annual anniversary trip to Orlando in early to mid-October. We have a yard haunt on Oct 31 and you should see our basement ... wall to wall "friends" :rotfl: We live Halloween 365 days a year at our house!

everytime someone mentions HHN, i get all tingly inside.......:goodvibes

the newbies should read back and see the photos bonny posted of her basement.
it's very creative and a very modern looking dungeon......jk

in my mind, i'm thinking of meets and the thread i'll start for dates homies will be at HHN.....

sharky, HHN does not have any child priced tickets.
if you take the little, you have to pay the adult fare for the ticket.

So funny you worded it this way, we had shared that my dog and your son have the same name (Tod), and I refer to my dog as my "Little" :lmao: This just struck me as cute!!! Anyway, the ticket is no big deal. We're used to paying full price for the kids on alot of things we do.

If i am aware that a homie has definitely made up their mind on doing something that i wouldn't do, then i say nothing.
I would never intentionally make comments that could be taken as insulting or offending to anyone.

I didn't think that of you at all! I was just laughing because so many people don't realize there are so many Hanut freaks out there who's kids are just as hard to scare as we are. There's really nothing that anyone could say that we haven't heard and laughed about when they beat feet past our kid who is too busy studying the "monster" to notice he should be scared.

the only thing i will say is leave the stroller in the hotel room.
HHN can get very crowded especially in the lines for the houses. A stroller might not be as easy to use as it would in the daytime.
if you use a stroller going thru the houses, someone could by accident take a step back and fall into or end up pushing the stroller, with the child in it.

Good point to this. Although, how is it any more dangerous at HHN than on a normal day at Disney? :rolleyes1 I'm being facetious here... In all seriousness, it's too dark I would think and difficult for people to see the stroller. Besides, we know all too well how those skeerdy cats can be :rolleyes2 Why can't they just walk through a haunt and enjoy it like the rest of us haunt freaks? Sheesh!!!

most of the lines going thru the houses are commonly referred to as the "congo line"

I used a wheelchair last year on one night.
i walked thru the houses as it was a lot easier/smoother than sit in the chair going thru the houses.

Bless your heart, I noticed you talkin about shots too. I can imagine it was a little difficult and uncomfortable for you to walk.

:thumbsup2 Go here to see our yard haunt from this past October 31

Love it!!! Did you guys build the crank ghost yourselves? We're trying our best to re-create a Haunted Mansion like cemetery for our yard haunt and a crank ghost would fit right in :thumbsup2

Well now I'm ready to bypass summer and get to the Spook season! :hyper:

Sharky - You're hooked!!!!

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

the only other thing I think you need to watch is the "adult behavior" and the scareactors costumes for some of the women at HHN - its great that you aren't raising fraidy cats - I know because I am one :scared:

You got to love it HHN in feb :lmao: :lmao: :thumbsup2

Hubby got the armature from a friend but we built everything else

I wish I would've gotten a shot--I'm begging you to share Mac.

I had xrays taken over 4 wks ago and still no phone call from dr.

I've been sucking it up since we got back from Universal on Jan 2 with pain radiating from my neck down to fingertips with tingling involved and weakness.

Finally sucked it up today (I hate to go to the drs) and went to a chiropractor. He did some more x-rays and exam. Guess what? cervical strain.

Do you think it was DD about 5x in a row then running over to the Hulk (6x)or maybe it was my husbands driving on the way down:rotfl2: :rotfl2: now that's a nail biter.:drive:

:confused3

the 'real' reason i won't drive to FLA w/my better half too;) , he has a CDL & even though he doesn't drive the big rigs any longer @ work, he tends to forget on the open road that we're in a SUV not a 16 wheeler lol

be careful w/the neck & the manipulations until Physician clears u, if a serious issue (herniated disc, etc., it can do more harm than good)pixiedust: .

good one:rotfl:

u know ur kids best, yet might want to check out some of the videos etc...we observed more than a few kids (8 - 9ish) being lead out of the houses in tears

coming from one who took her DSs to local haunted houses since they were Kidnergarden age, i must tell you HHN is intense & wholly immersive:thumbsup2 a whole 'nuther level of scary imo.

bonny has the best haunted yard! i thought ours was great, she raises the bar!

mac - yikes, lots of shots:sad: ; hope they do the trick!

never knew anybody who got bounceback:cool1: don't know much about it either:pas i've been offered . Im told they're starting to place the cards in the DVC rooms on occasion, so maybe i'll get lucky! sooo, what is the deal's discount & terms (as in do u have to book the same time period next year?):coffee:

back to idol, more interesting tonight:)

:lmao: CHOMP!!!

I had noticed in someone else's pictures a while back that some of the ladies were a bit ... ummmm ... frisky looking. Believe it or not, we had a few moms show up at our door TOTing that way this year too, and one REALLY needed more cloth :scared:

Problem is now my primary wants me to go to PT and the chiro, but I'm thinking you never called me in over a month to tell me the problem, I should get to pick where I want.:confused3

yikes minnie, i know you are in pain.
and dd probably had a hand in it.............but it is so worth it..:thumbsup2

i don't understand why doc didn't get back to you on your xrays. and now he wants to give you a treatment plan.
do what you think is best for you. living in chronic pain isn't fun.

i use a chiropractor and do adjustments frequently. i know many people don't believe in using them, but for me, they are a life saver.

i wish my shot today was for present pain.
i'm doing orthovisc in the knee joint for a series of 3 injections.
after 3 weeks and 3 injections, it will take 3 weeks after that to determine if they were successful.

if they aren't, then more surgery.

as long as i have everything taken care of before mid september, i'm all for it.

have to be in good walking condition for hhn.....

i do have my priorities.

once i get the one leg fixed up, then i have to deal with the other leg.
that one is not the same problem as what i am going thru now but a different issue.

It's almost 11 and the kiddies still aren't in bed.

MIL emailed yesterday and said she won't be here until Saturday. But the turkey I took out on Sunday to thaw needs to be cooked tonight and frozen. So I'll be at a wedding all day Saturday in Memphis, and they'll be home eating the frozen leftovers.

Yippee....

It's going to be a long night.

Hey Mac, won't Disney be busy regardless during the time that I'm going (late June)? I may switch after all, I just have to see if I get the free Universal pass and/or I can get the ADR's that I want. I'm really leaning towards Disney, since I haven't been to 3 out of 4 parks in like 4 or 5 years, and I was just at Universal. I don't know, I have until May to make up my mind. If you've already made payments over your deposit and cancel, you get those refunded, right?

Good morning!

Awesome pics, CDn Pooh!

3 more days of work, plus the weekend thrown it there. Trip is getting closer! I can't wait to see pics of HR3. Oh, how I wish it would be ready to ride...

Have a great day!
