Janet - Stephen and I are possibly planning a trip for late August/early Sept if they offer the free dining. Matt and Royce are flying out to Vail next month in conjunction with a visit to the Air Force Academy. Either way, Matt and Eric have no interest in Disney anymore. When Stephen and I were talking about it the other day, Matt overheard a bit of it and came in and asked "We're going to Disney AGAIN? WHY?!" So no, I don't feel bad about leaving them out! Eric and Matt are also playing HS soccer, and couldn't miss any time then. Royce would like to come, but since he spent this week skiing in Colorado and will be there again in January, also I'm just not feeling too bad about him either! Eric is so interested in his Rubik's cube stuff, that he'd rather do a bunch of short trips (like the one to Indiana this past weekend) for those competitions than anything Disney.

But right now it's just in the "if they offer free dining, and the school schedule is what I think it is and we can get cheap airfare" stage!

marci, i booked the bounceback promo in october.
it includes the free food. the 4/3 does not include food.

i read on the dis side forums that the promo sheet left in the guest resort rooms now are the discounts for up to early oct 09.
it is 40% off the deluxe hotel rooms. no food.
that's the bounceback the one poster talked about for next year.

but since disney has lots of empty rooms, they could possibly do the free dining promos again.

I was wondering when they will post prices for the HRH in Oct of 09 ? I am still considering the trip to do HHN if I can get another group to join us . Help split the cost of the room . you can only have 5 in the room at the loews hotels.
does this mean you are leaving the kids at home and gonna try to have another couple go with you?

Hey Donald...I am still MIA...goodness...I am just lucky to have a job...so many without jobs...my heart goes to them and here I am working my "a" off and I just got a raise....YAHOO...not avery big one, but it is one! I get paid monthly so there really is no such thing as "overtime" and we also get bonuses...remember Clark Griswold in "Christmas Vacation"??? Well us salary folks count on our bonuses and I got a raise and finally got my bonus this month, even though we are in "economic stress".....So my thoughts and prayers go out to those who don't have a job....

now to the trip stuff.
i haven't found good air yet but still trying....

and since you got the raise and i didn't, you get to buy the drinks when we all eventually meet.......

This is not as personal as some may think but I'm in construction and its looking bleek for my future in this field.So I was a nurse(LPN)15 yrs ago. So I can fall back on that.Just need to brush up on some schooling to retake the test..My DW is a nurse and the medical field is always going too be there!!

a) the crowds (imo they r ridiculously overselling what is supposed to be a ltd event , crowds verging upon President day type when we were there middle of month/weekday

&

b) the price...even with AP/DVC discount...HHN tix (with AP discount) were approx 1/2 the price as i recall

still, MNNSHP is a great non-horror type event to get ur mouse on

Joshua will be out of school early on Thursday and then doesn't go back until Jan 6th. How on earth am I going to keep the boys from exploding from sheer excitement once he is out of school? Huh? Suggestions?

We got Joshua's pinewood derby car at his cub scouts meeting last night. They call this a kit? It is a block of wood and wheels! I had no idea what I was getting into when I suggested scouting. You actually have to make stuff... and I am severly craft challenged. Dammit.

The boys are growing like crazy.

See? I'm not kidding.

I didn't take time to read back, but I'll return later and try to ketchup.

Janet - For multiday ticket buyers I think you can get a $75 gift card to use at the parks. But I'm not positive.

Tricia - The boys are adorable. I am not finished with my shopping either. Now it is icy, I have to help my sister with her magazine for the next three days and then Ally will be out of school. Good luck with holding the boys off once Joshua is home from school.
