how far away are you from there?
i might be doing some genealogy research in that area this summer.

i'm sure all the towns where you are have been hit hard with the ice storms.
and there is not much that can be done for ice.
even the 4 wheel drives can't move on it.

Hey Mac I don't know how far paducah is from us but I don't think its that far but yeah we didn't get hit that hard but we did get like a half inch of ice last night and about 3 inches of snow today and the guys next door already cut a tree down in thier front yard and was telling DW they were about to cut the low hanging limbs from our trees too but thought we would get mad but DW told them to go ahead .
but who know cause they are still hanging to the ground.
So to you guys that are in this cold and nasty weather bundel up and stay warm,

Hey guys! Bad luck with the computer today. Blue screen of death and then complete death. Royce brought it to Best Buy and they fired it up fine there. He brought it back home and...nothing! He just headed back there again. Who wants to bet it will work fine for them? It's still under warranty, but not very useful if it doesn't work at home and only at BB! :badpc:

I'll try to keep watching at work, but have a hard time replying there! Oh, and my car is now making moaning, screeching noises whenever I start it up. It seriously sounds like it's in pain! So I'm hoping to get it into the shop on Friday. Yeah, it's been a great day! :sad2:

Computer is back at Best Buy. They couldn't get it to work at all when he went back. Even though it's under warranty, somehow there is a $80 charge for them to look at it and like a $180 charge if they have to fix it? :confused3

Doesn't seem like a very useful warranty to me! I guess we'll see what they say! And I am bringing my car in tomorrow. Joy! Maybe they'll give me a discount because it's my birthday! :rolleyes:

Oh, and I guess I didn't need that countdown (up?!) ticker after all. Got to go out and shovel snow this morning. Not much - maybe just under an inch. At least it covered up all the brown dingy junk, but now you can't see where the ice is. My friend and I went walking this morning (and it was a balmy -3), and it was challenging to say the least!

Thanks. It was my screensaver, but when my DD straigtened my son's hair the other day I said it kinda looked like him. :lmao:
