hey all ... not sure if this is OK to post or not but I will anyway (better to beg forgiveness than request permission) ...

If anyone is planning on traveling by air anywhere in the next month, and hasn't bought their ticket yet, I have a $25 E-cert that can be used for travel completed by March 1/09. Since we canceled our January trip, I didn't use it and would hate for it to go to waste so if anyone can use it, just send me a PM.

... just checked the cert ... says can be used on NWA, KLM or Continental

Wow - thanks everyone for all the birthday (pre-birthday! ) wishes! Sorry to confuse everyone, I was referring to when I take my car in tomorrow. But I really appreciate all the cool wishes and the creepy sock monkeys!

Now I just wish I could have my own computer back to actually view them on. I've been using either of my sons' computers today or actually trying to do home stuff at work. Boy do I send a lot of emails in a day.

Again thanks everyone. More special because I don't think I'll be getting much of anything here. Still trying to decide if we want to get a new hot water heater (ours is more of a "warm" water heater) or a new dishwasher for my exciting birthday gift. Yeah, you know you're getting old...

And I'm officially old, and Penny (YankeePenny) is officially "old minus a year!"

Happy Birthday Penny! I'm not on my computer so I can't access all those cool cakes and stuff so you'll just have to accept the wishes. Wait, I'll add cheerleaders!

For those of you who were fans of The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson....

This is...without a doubt...the funniest segment I've ever seen from the show.

I used to watch Johnny when I was in high school and was very upset when he passed away.

This is just too funny. It cracks me up everytime I watch it!
