I know you are always happy for Kyle to show up for lunch and it's great his office is so close.

Yep!
Okay, I have to ask what cornish ice cream is? I love ice cream and have never heard of that one
That's so frustrating to go through all that for a diagnosis and help! It took me 4 years and 3 specialists and an attorney to get my diagnosis. Glad she is getting better.
Leftovers are my absolute favorite supper. I always try to fix more than enough so we can do that.
That sounds like fun, Carole. There is a daily coffee group of ladies at our favorite restaurant. I stop by when I can and they are always a riot!
I hate afternoon appointments and always try to get as early as possible too. Have a good day tomorrow (an oxymoron remark
Pumpkin: I know what you mean by his overseeing the job turning into doing the job. My husband has had that happen many times with his years of construction behind him.
I've never heard of that one, but I don't think I would do well watching that one.
You are so lucky, Robo, to be able to see your little J a lot. He sounds like he is a fun little guy
Sounds good Carole. I have tried all the different marinade recipes you have given me for pork chops and chicken and we love them all. I don't make them as spicy as you do because both of us can't tolerate spicy food anymore.
I have been away for a while due to an unexpected bout of flu. I was sick for a few days - mostly very tired with upset stomach. Must be something going around again? So I am catching up on things I have let go around here. I also am enjoying the beautiful weather we have been having - low 70's and sunny with low humidity. I know I am bragging on the weather, but I can only do that a few weeks of the summer, LOL.
Today was Mom's day at the stores and eating out at her favorite restaurant. I took her to the doctor yesterday for cortisone shots in her shoulders. She has bilateral rotator cuff tears that can't be operated on due to her age. So she gets the shots every 3 months. She never complains and insists on doing most everything around her apartment. She is always in a good mood which is amazing. I get grumpy if I have a mild cold!
We celebrated one of my grandson's 18th birthday last weekend (or the family did - I stayed home so I didn't give the flu to others). He is a senior this year in HS, and will soon be working towards a career. It seems like only yesterday that he was a little boy!
This weekend we will be at a WoodCarving event in a small town north of here. My husband and daughter Robin have a wood carving business and will have a booth at the event. It's a fun event with lots of vendors and good food in a small town atmosphere.
I hope everyone has a good week.
