Mouse number 2 in in the trap ( dead ) and dh is not home, I just discovered it behind the fridge when I went to put something in the garbage and I screamed like you wouldn't believe. I'm not going into that kitchen today!!! HELP!!!!!

Get a shovel and scoop up the whole thing..trap and mouse and toss it all! Then call DH and have him bring some new traps home.:D

First of all, it's BEHIND the fridge (don't know how you saw it). Secondly, it's DEAD. So, I'd leave it there till DH can take care of it.

I'd put a bucket over it so I wouldn't have to look at it, and then let DH get it when he gets home. I did this once with a bird our dog had killed in the back yard. Yuck!!!

Fojmo, one side of the fridge is open , no cabinets no nothing and the trash can is there, I saw it when I went to throw something out , ewwwwwwwww.
You bet I'm not touching that thing, dh is on mouse patrol when he gets home but I think it's just so disgusting, I can deal with anything else but snakes ( garden or big ones ) and mice or anything similar, I just can't, I run faster than they do if I see one.

I know how you feel, dead or alive, mice terrify me. I would not go in my kitchen again. Go out to lunch, go shopping, clean other parts of the house. Sorry, can't help with removeful, I'd hyperventilate just walking through the room. We had mice this fall, and I felt like a prisoner in my own home.

{{{HUGS}}} to you and good luck making it through the day. Hope your DH gets home early.

Thanks everyone, it's such a nice day that I am actually working outside on the yard, I only come in to go potty! LOL

My DW is so terrified of mice that she wouldn't even go in the house to go potty. :earseek:

She once told me that if we ever found a mouse in our house, that we would have to move. And she was deadly serious. She has real issues with rodents.

Hope DH arrives home soon to rescue you.

Thank God no one fears big mice

TC I can so identify with your DW....I'm patiently waiting for DH , doing everything in other rooms but I haven't gone into the kitchen!
