Here are some of the highlights of our trip...well actually everywhere we pretty much ate was a highlight.

We spent a lot of time at the S/D restaurants this trip and totally enjoyed them. We had lunch at Splash grille, dd (5) had the grilled cheese and I had a chicken grille sandwich. Just fine.

Gulliver's character dinner is so nice because it's relaxing. Goofy and Pluto were there but it wasn't you're ordinary crazy meal because they come out one at a time and the restaurant is moderately busy. You can choose the buffet (and actually leave the table without worrying about missing a character). I had the stuffed shrimp which I thought was excellent. DD had the grilled chicken which she enjoyed.

CRT's-the usual, I just don't care for their food much anymore so I thought I'd do something different and order the "healthy" choice -well you know what! I'm glad I did, it was really good, and huge, I think I might have eaten half of it. It was granola with peach yogurt, raisins, fresh blueberries (it also comes with strawberries but I had them leave them out) and almonds I think. I really enjoyed it. I added some of the other fresh fruit they had to it and it was really good.

Princess interaction was good and we were lucky that we didn't have to wait at all and got a seat right by the window (because we were a party of 2 I think).

The Plaza at MK was very busy this trip. We waited (for the first time) for 20 minutes but it didn't disappoint. I had the marinated veggie wrap, delicious! It had portobella mushrooms, red peppers lettuce and tomate in a sundried tomatoe wrap served with sweet potatoe chips. I ate it all and then ended my meal with a fabulous sundae. I must say I think they have the best ice cream in ALL of Disney!! DD had the usual grilled cheese lunch and she was happy.

We had dinner at PALIO at the Swan. My dh joined us by this time. Michale was our waiter and dd just loved him. He played games with her all night. He just had her in stitches - even got her a bit wound up but it was ok because she enjoyed it so much. I had a delicious veggie pizza (I was in the "veggie" mode this trip for some reason) which was excellent. Too bad I could only eat half of it. Dh had the pasta with seafood which he enjoyed and dd had her usual grilled cheese. And, I have to add that Michale went down to Gulliver's to have her sandwich made! And, it was out within 10 minutes! So, don't ever think that PALIO is for "adults only" because that certainly isn't the case!

I guess I should stop here and finish later since this is getting a big lengthly.

Thanks for the reviews. I really liked CRT's breakfast food, but I know some people don't care for it. To each their own, huh?! :)

Great reviews! So glad you loved Palio! DS and I also had a window seat at CRT, on a last minute walkup! Gullivers is still on the list. Do you happen to know what the schedule is for days of the week/offerings are on the buffet?

Enjoy the rest of your trip!
Debbie

Enjoyed your reviews.

What time of day did you eat at the Plaza? Did you have a PS?

Thanks for the reviews!
We also had a waiter at Palio who loved to tease our children. It was funny watching our DS10 try to come up with rational responses to his nonsense! The Swan seems to try to project Palio as a romantic couples-only place but it really is family-friendly!

#1hockeymom-Regarding Gulliver's buffet I'm not sure which nights they have what. I do know that Thursdays has been the Italian buffet and I think Friday is seafood--you can call the Swan directly to find out the schedule (I've done that but just can't remember where I wrote it down!)

BCV23-We had a PS for the Plaza, good thing because when we were there for our 12:30 PS they were telling all walk ups that it would be an hour wait. We sat around 12:45 or so. This was the busiest we've seen it at lunch. We've eaten here in early November and early December and didn't even have a PS and sat right away. Good thing I made that PS this time, but I really enjoy their food (and ice cream!)

erikthewise-I wonder if the waiter you had at PALIO was Michale, because it sure sounds like him, he was a hoot!!
