My sister just called and said she wanted to slap this woman in the gourmet market we sometimes go to ... this woman was going ON AND ON complaining about how cold it is in there and how she usually SENDS HER SECRETARY and she isn't coming in there anymore because she's so cold and uncomfortable....whine whine whine whine whine...Considering we lost our mom 2 weeks ago, My sister wanted to scream "You think YOU are uncomfortable??! Try going through 4 years of dialysis, 9 weeks in the hospital after a life-threatening agonizing aortic dissection then a collapsed lung and then 7 months of hospital trips...spending all your holidays in a hospital with surgery after surgery, severe nausea...needles constantly, blood tests...go through that and then let's see what you think is UNCOMFORTABLE!!!"
I wish she did slap her.

Wow, I hope your vent made you feel better. That whiney lady was probably making harmless conversation and was totally oblivious to y'all's problems.

It did! But she wasn't making conversation, she was yelling at the store workers.
