thanks julie!! :goodvibes
glad its open til 7 again, and hopin the saturday (16th) will be the same as previous saturday & open til 10pm!! oh my, we are gonna be tired peeps, but very happy ones too!!!

Shame though about Buzz being closed, that'll be a few disappointed space rangers out there. (11-22nd)

At last! And it stops right on our last day.
Now the dining planning can begin in earnest... :thumbsup2

Gah, I was hoping to see at one late park opening - but it shuts at 8pm/7pm when we're there :(

A real shame, I know it's open until 23:00 today and I've never seen it at night :-(

i am disgusted, the park closes at six when i am there

seeing as we eat our main meal at lunch we will be quite bored in the evenings

I've yet to really see WDS at night, and from photos I've seen it looks A LOT better than during the day.
I've also never seen Fantillusion or the fireworks, but that's the price you pay for cheaper hotel rates and shorter lines. :confused3

I feel your pain. There's only so many times I can look around the Village shops.

Tell me about it! Skye and Cole usually eat tea about 5 at home so we can't get away with eating late and so eat our main meal around lunchtime. We tended to leave the park around 7 anyway so to get them bathed and in bed but then it was quieter to get back. 6pm is going to be chucking out time and heaving but we're not going to want to leave any earlier than that! Looks like the Saturday nights not going to be a late one either judging on the previous weeks to when we go. :sad2:

Ho hum. never mind!

ETA: Seems I was looking at the wrong week! it reverts back to 19:00 the week we go thankfully. Still feel for you though, I know what a pain in the bum it would be for us! 19:00 isn't brilliant but it's a little better as we can leave before the masses. At least there's MNSSHP on one of the nights though!!

I really don't think it's too much to expect Disney to advertise opening hours and just stick to them, instead of releasing them a month or so in advance.

For the amount of money we spend, time and planning we do, I don't think we should have to take a chance on when the parks will open and close.

I'm sure the hours were in the brochures years ago, and probably some clause saying 'subject to change' - I think they're at it.

I think that the short opening hours are a major blow off peak - some American friends think we get ripped off! I usually only go over peak time (usually July and once for NYE) but this time I'm going the 2nd week in November ready for the Christmas season. I'm going Mon- Fri and am prepared for the early evenings (though I'm dreading them to be honest) but have made up for this by making sure we are there for the Bonfire/firewoks on the Lake and of course Fantillusions :) IT just wouldn't be a holiday for me with out either of those.

I always feel so sorry for people that book their break, then come one here asking what time the fireworks etc are, when I know that in reality, only a few days have these. When you tell them that the park closes early AND no fireworks, I feel their disappointment :( Gone are the days when there were fireworks all year round and late hours. I think that the planning people knew of these when they approved the parks and I hate that now they decide it's all wrong.

Maybe their should be EMH AFTER the park closes like in the States, would be great for those who have never seen the park in the dark, and it wouldn't actually be closing that late either! I've been in the MK at 3am before!
