Just to let AP holders be aware, I was just checking AP rates on WDW site and saw that the Values now have dates in Nov for 49/night and 89/night for some nights in Nov for Moderates. I guess they are really having booking problems with all the GP as well as free dining for Disney Visa during the timeframe.

Very interesting.....I'll keep a hopeful eye out for next April as we don't normally see discounts during Easter, but maybe next year it's a possibility.

Who knows, this year as long as you start by Dec 20, many have posted here to get the free dining though Christmas!! New offers as well as lower AP rates are being put out there for Nov and Dec as well as the Disney Visa Free dining for the same time. Good Luck!

I just called Disney to see if my rate would go down any but was told the rate posted on their passholder site was for room only and that I needed another code for room + dining and to call back if I found one. I thought they could now add the dining plan onto any passholder room reservation you had...guess I was wrong. :confused3
So, does anyone have a new code for AP room plus dining?

Are you talking about the free dining or purchasing it? As far as I know if buying it, I thought you could add it to an AP discounted room. If free, you must purchase at least a 1 day pass. We just did this with the free dining offer. We did have an AP discount room for 54/night but when the free dining with Disney Visa came out it was worth it for us to change to the 82/night to get the free dining for 3 of us!

Purchasing the dining plan with an AP room rate...Disney considers it a "package", so there has to be a "package" discount code to get the lower room rate. Sounds like mouse poop to me.

Sorry, I never purchased the plan but I don't know if you're aware of the fact that free dining is being offered for many dates through Dec 20 (for the first day of stay) with Disney Visa. I would sign on the the AP section and see if you can book the room with the discount and add the room that way if you are not interested in the free dining. It's worth a try just to see if it works!

I appreciate it, but the free dining is not offered for my dates :sad2:
Of course, I check daily so who knows? Maybe I'll get lucky. I can't complain, though. I did get, IMO, a really good deal this year. :thumbsup2
Just always looking for better LOL

The only code i could find on mousesavers was DHZ for the DP with AP discount & JZJ for the deluxe dining plan

Thanks disneyfan55, I was able to get the 89/nt rate for our Nov trip :cheer2:

Good for you, Crazydaisy!!!
Are you adding the dining plan on to your res, too, or just the room only?

When we changed our res from the AP discount that we had of 54/night at ASMu even for the weekends to the dining, we found it cheaper to get the free dining offer. We ended up paying the 82/night and had FD for 3 of us. We did have to pay the 10/night for the extra person as well, but it ended up being cheaper even though we did have to get the 1 day passes as well. Now we have the 1 day passes for a future renewal or upgrade. It ended up costing about 193( more than the 54/ night orig cost) plus the 60 for the additional adult. A bargain for 6 days of food for 3!

We are going Nov 30 - Dec 7 (7 nights)
With the AP room and dining rate we paid 1445.00 for 2 adt and 2 chld.
I am getting completely frustrated trying to check different rates online (my computer is so slow when on the disney site) and The free dining does not apply for our dates (yet) so as far as I have found, this is definitely the best rate I am going to find.
I am not complaining....just always looking for better :thumbsup2

Right now we are doing room only. We have 3 nights booked at CBR arriving on 11/20 from the 4 night cruise. I doubt we will be hungry enough for the dining plan :rotfl:

I currently have an AP room only rate of 99/night booked but would love to see if I can get it cheaper. Do you know the code associated with the 89/night at the Mods you mention above?

Thanks!!
