I was crying when I started the thread, and now I'm crying thinking that someday they are going to move to Japan, thanks

I just think every school year it occurs to me - why is it going by so fast and how do I make it stop?
My DD turned 8 in April and I thought, 1 more year and we'll be half way to her adulthood![]()
Sorry for that, we all hope that they stay close. My siblings children all stayed close to home and they see each other on a weekly basis. (I hope the same for you and your children, afterall being with the ones we love is what life is all about). We will spend our vacations in Japan from now on Disney Tokyo!
Also, I just started reading Eckhart Tolle's book A New Earth...The Power of NOW, so maybe that will help me, who knows. On the outside I go on with my day as if nothing is wrong but on the inside it's a different story...I miss my "king". My husband is feeling the same way, and it's nice to know that we can talk to one another about it. We think everyone else would think we were nuts since we have an empty nest.
