China has executed a former official of the country's national carrier, Air China, for embezzling more than $3 million.

A Chinese court official says Yang Ning was put to death Tuesday after China's Supreme Court rejected his appeal.

Yang is said to have embezzled more than $3 million between 1992 and 1995, when he was deputy director of Air China's finance

Well, actually, EROS, there ARE a few teeny weeny differences between the US and China:

In the US, we don't discard, drown, abandon, or abort babies just because they have two X chromosomes.

In the US, we don't execute prisoners so that we can harvest their kidneys.

In the US, we don't plow down peaceful pro-democracy demonstrators with armored tanks.

In the US, we don't seize private property for use by the government (which is what happened to most of my grandparents' homes).

Precisely my point, DEB . Few democracies on the globe maintain capital punishment; the nations, aside from ourselves, which still execute citizens are predominately TOTALITARIAN regimes which scoff at "Human Rights" .
