Solo trip with the NE DIVAS May 2nd - 7th!

Oh, and I already changed my mind on the parks. The crowds on Sunday were enough to make me want to cuss at people a few times, and bad enough that I finally understood why some people have such a bad opinion of WDW. If that was my first visit ever, I don't think I'd want to go back.

But I have a some things to do today that takes me a ways from home anyway, so I'll head to the parks after for some exercise. I realized that even if there's crowds, it doesn't matter. I'm a local with an annual pass. I don't need to worry about lines or even the crowds. I could go explore resorts if I wanted to since my goal is exercise in a nice environment.

Jellyrolls is on the Boardwalk. Walking distance from Epcot world showcase. Its got a 10 dollar cover charge but is ABSOLUTELY a blast. . .

I actually get in the day before... I got a better flight for monday, so I should be checking in around 3pm... doing my spa thing and dinner on Monday... maybe hit the Studios that night since they are open late.

Tuesday, Im open to do whatever, wherever... I had put epcot on the day plan, but its nothing to switch it around. Gotta meet up with the Divas!

Not sure what your plan was at Epcot... my goal was to experience world showcase (which I never have in all the years I been to Epcot) and just do a few rides in Future world. I can probably even have time later in the day to grab a nap, change and get my old behind to Jellyrolls! woohoo!

So, one of my "frienefits" wants to come up on his day off (Monday) and leave on Tuesday ... am I wrong that I told him "hell no"? LOL. I told him why... he thinks Im nuts that Im putting people I don't even know before him... I said "well, that says something about you now don't it?" LOLOL.... Ok... I bit the bullet and going outside of my comfort zone. I am determined to do a bunch of things on my Disney Vaycay that I wouldn't normally do... like... be broke for one.

LOL.. For the third time, I've changed my resort - now staying at AKV Kidani. Im really excited about it especially I am considering a DVC membership and don't know that I want to stare at Nemo all week.

Also, just signed up for a Wild Africa Trek... "claaawd, please let the harness hold my big behind up and lest thine behind not fall into the crocodile pit. Amen"

Has everyone finalized all their plans, ADRs, packed the hangover meds??

Sounds good. I actually love AKV/AKL. . .just a really relaxing resort. As of now, I will be staying at BWV with a friend so I will definitely be onsite. . .lol.

I am sending down some of my favorite wine because I am not renting a car this time. Don't know how I will survive but I drive so much for work, I decided that as part of my vacation, no driving for me.

I'm working on the reservation at LeCellier, right now I can't change it but the CM told me to check back later in the week because they have people cancel all the time.

My fave standard rooms are the rooms that are near the quiet pool and look out on the garden area there. They are a little far back on the Hotel side but nice sized rooms. I'll be in the DVC side with a friend. You know you are welcome to join up when I am there. I'll resend you my phone as it has changed since I was in MD. Talk soon.

Kim, you are good. I was going back and forth on the car rental because I am tied to the hip to mine, even though I take the train in to NYC for work. I thought of just renting it on Friday when I leave to drive down to my MOm's but I just couldn't do it. I have a feeling it will probably just sit in the parking lot all week but I just couldn't go without the rental... I need help.. LOL

The African Trek sounds like fun. I wonder if I get a AP discount on that? I will have to check. I do have a friend in Florida that may come up to visit. Checking now.


Also NE Diva's. This has been rattling around in my head for a minute. Is anyone interested in truly being Diva's and trying Victoria and Albert's. It is not a must do but people seem to love it. It isn't something that a lot of people would do when they have the children but could be fun when it is just a couple of girlfriends.

Just a thought.
