Hey everyone!

I'm 32, a Georgia resident, and like all of you, a huge Disney fan! As my boyfriend and I have such different schedules I mostly do my trips to the parks solo, but I'm hoping to change that. I've come to realize that just about everyone my age has lost their childlike wonder and love for the Disney parks...now they see them as more of summertime requirement simply because the kids are out of school. This makes me so sad! Disney is one of those treasured cradle-to-grave loves for me - I can't imagine not being giddy as I pass under Spaceship Earth, or when I catch my first sight of the castle from Main Street. It's all just so magical!! And I think it would be awesome to have a friend share in that magic :-) I'd love to meet a fellow kid-at-heart fan for Disney park fun! I usually hit the parks in the early spring but I'm flexible for just about any time of the year. I am seriously thinking about visiting this upcoming October for my first MNSSH. Just thinking about it gets me excited!! The only requirements I ask are that you be female (as I am) and between late 20s-late30s. I don't mind if you're single, attached, childfree, big family, far away...if you love Disney and want a fellow fan for the parks I'm sure I'd
love to hear from you! :-)

Hi Bluefox!! Not sure if Im too old.. I'm early 40's.. Female of course and love love Disney.. I have traveled solo before and with my kids.. 2 of them are now on their own and in college and one is in the last years of high school.. I like to go solo from time to time to avoid the more busier park times and always looking for a fellow Disney lover like myself.. I'm currently thinking of going early spring solo..

I'll be going solo in September 2014 and I'm 33. If you want to join up with me you can :)

Thanks for the invitation Cinderellagirl! :-) oh wow, sept 2014! How can you not be going crazy with excitement for the next year? I'd be eaten up with it! ;-)

Hi BettyAnn! Always glad to meet a fellow Disney fan, too! :-) that's great to hear you're thinking about hitting the parks in the early spring, since that's about the one time of the year that I absolutely do make it to Disney. Do you have a specific month you were considering? Happy 4th of July!

I just hit 50, my D19 will be a CPer Spring 2014. My S23 did the CP in 2011.

I'll be there Week of 3/8-15/2014.

I Love DHS!

Aww man! If only I had the plans (and funds :headache:) to go! I just moved to Georgia late last year (about 30 mins or so away from Atlanta), and get completely what you mean about wanting someone to get excited and giddy with too. I'm 24, so I'd classify as mid-20s, but I really act like a kid when I'm in Disney. :cloud9:

edit: I should specify that I act like a 'good' kid in Disney. You know, just in case you're worried.

My September 2013 trip was supposed to be solo, until my family said they wanted to come. But I am seriously considering a AP so I may go in the spring 2014.... as a solo and telling NO ONE in my family. If you decide spring 2014 I would be more than happy to have a ride buddy or a dinner buddy! (I am female 40ish btw and also a Disney-a-holic!)

Hi Amfie! Wow, sorry to hear that your solo venture has been intruded on :-( I guess I live far enough away from my family that they don't really catch wind of my travel plans until after I've gone and come back. I'd love to get an AP! Have you ever had one before? I'd love to hear if you feel it's worth buying :-) And I always seem to make it to the parks around Spring so 2014 shouldn't be any different :-)

Hi StephyDee! Welcome to Georgia :-) hopefully you are enjoying the state so far. I'm guessing you must be north of Atlanta if you're 7 1/2 hours away from Disney; I'm 30 mins south and the drive is about 6 1/2 hours (though I usually hop a flight to Orlando). Disney is a great place to let out the inner "big kid"! :-) I'm pretty much pinging all over the place like Stewie there when I'm getting close to the main gate heehee. Always great to meet a fellow Disney fan who loves the parks! I wish it was easier for people like us to find like minds for Disney trips!

I have never had an annual pass. I am debating it...my fear is I will get it and not be able to make it down in a year. Originally I was thinking the 10 day no expiration but would only have three days left then. Its actually cheaper for the AP.

Last year I took mom for her bday. She lives in Florida as does my brother and his family. Now last year it was cheaper for my my mobile mom to get a weekday select pass than the 5 day hopper. When I told her I was going she was a little hurt I didn't invite her (even tho her exact words last yr were 'I have had enough of Disney')! That was the start of the 'can I come?' Lol!

Actually I'm to the west of Atlanta....I just tend to live near a bunch of major roads, so the travelling tends to go quicker. (I'm less than five mins from Interstate 20. It takes me less than five mins to WALK to Rt. 5! :rotfl2:) Douglas County represent! :cool2: I'm enjoying it here pretty well. I've visited Ga a lot in the past because my brother and his family live here too. He's actually the one who lives north of Atlanta....it takes him over 8 hrs to get to Disney. I tend to always remind him that I'm closer to Disney than he is. :rotfl:

I'm the same way Stewie is in that gif when I get to the gate! As soon as I saw it I knew it was TOO perfect and had to make it. I even put in a hidden mickey. :)

Mobile mom? Geesh my phone is all whack-a-doodle!

Need to get Mom somewhere in a hurry? Call Mobile-Mom(tm)! ;-)

LOL at her two different reactions to Disney! :-) I do hope you all have a great time. I can see your dilemma with the passes...when you visit Disney do you ever just stay 3 days? I usually just do 2-3 days at a time but I'm wanting to go for longer sometime, especially during a holiday season :-)

I see it!! By his head at the back of the car! :-)

Ahh, so you live close to Six Flags. It's funny, I seem to be something of a park snob and haven't gone once in the five years I've been here...I'm a Disney girl dangit, lol! Nice you have a distance advantage over your bro, unless you are traveling to Orlando with him and have to wait for him get to Atlanta, boo! I've seen other board members from Georgia posting here, maybe we could have a Ga disboards meet :-)

I have done either one day trips or 5+. But since I was thinking of going solo I was thinking maybe a 4 day trip. Depends on a few factors...mainly airfare prices!

I think a solo trip would be so much fun! I'm 33 and live in Chattanooga! Have a trip planned for October and can't wait! Just my son and I going this time. Leaving the hubby and toddler at home!!

Hi Cari, from another Cari! (except spelled K-a-r-i :-))
Great to hear you have a solo trip planned! If you've never gone solo before, I highly recommend it! It's a great way to see new things and try the parks out on your own schedule. Well if you live in Chatt you can just pick me up on your drive to Orlando! ;-) have you been to Disney before during October? I think I'd like to go for the not-so-scary Halloween or at Christmastime, seems like the parks would be so much fun during the holidays!!

Hello! I'm always looking for new friends - especially Disney friends! 28/f (Ugh... feel so old) from Michigan!! I won't be making it for Food&Wine this year since I'm going down in December with the boyfriend (its weird not traveling solo anymore!!!). But still interested in making new friends!

Hi Tabby! Thanks for writing, always great to make a new Disney friend!! :-) aww don't sweat 28...I think things finally start to stabilize around the 30s. So I'm taking it you are a seasoned soloist, eh? I'm sure my bf and I will do the parks someday but my love for Disney is muuuuch greater than his, and since he's a big Harry Potter fan I'm more interested in visiting Universal with him. I'd love to see Disney during Christmas!!!! Have you ever been during a holiday season? :-)
