My dear friends,

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience for solo dining experiences at Disney World or Disneyland? I have some trips planned toward the end of 2012 and was wondering if there are dining experiences better suited toward solos vs. groups. I seem to think there is something at Jiko akin to bar type seating but not sure. Any information is appreciated. I have a good 3 months before I can make PS at DL and 2 months before my 180 mark for WDW.

I've done several solo trips to Disney World and never have any hesitation at making ADRs for any table service location. I think the servers go out of their way to make solo diners feel welcome. I know at 50s Prime Time Cafe my server was great and got me engaged with my surrounding "cousins".

Flying Fish has a chef counter that's always entertaining.

Have fun!

I did Akershus on a solo trip once, and I found the service was excellent and extra receptive. But for some reason I never felt comfortable hitting restaurants on a solo trip, so I usually partake in counter service.
