Another question. I know that it is a personal choice but I would like some feedback from people who have stayed in both. I have seen the castawaycay site that shows pictures. I also like the idea of less noise in the aft cabins. I do worry about motion. We have sailed twice on the Golden Princess and we felt movement everywhere. Can anybody offer any insight. We are thinking about booking on Deck 6 cabins 6144-6154 and6644-6652. THANKS!!!

We were midships and had no noise at all. I loved being able to sit on the verandah and watch the ocean go by. Plexi all the way for me!

I did the navigators verandah and we loved it...we have a DS4 and I felt safer with the solid...don't know why but I did...It was great, very private.

Hope this helps:p

While we've only tried the plexiglass, I can't imagine feeling safer with a metal balcony... maybe if you're afraid of heights...

We had the best time, just sitting there looking out at the water. I also liked the fact that my daughter could see out without any need for her to climb.

One nice thing about plexiglass is that if you're sitting on the couch inside the cabin you can still see the ocean. Plexi all the way for me!!!!
