Does anyone know if the 11.5% tax is added to the price when staying at SOG? Or is it already included in the rate you get based on your rank? Also, when they are full, and they give you an overflow rate for another Disney resort, does that rate include tax or is tax added? I know I can call SOG but was hoping someone here knows.

Thanks so much :thumbsup2

I know for a fact that the tax is included in the price when staying at SOG. So, if it says $97/night and you only stay 1 night, you only pay $97.

As for the overflow, someone can correct me, but I think you do have to pay the additional taxes since it is a Disney hotel you will be staying at.

ETA: Just curious. Were you offered an overflow? If so, when, what resort and what rate?

Thanks Sleepy. Not offered overflow yet for upcoming trip. Still waiting. Last year we got an overflow rate (very last minute) at POR of 121 or 129/night (can't remember) in April but I can't remember if we paid tax or not. Must have. This time we want POR again but, as it's too early, we can't get overflow yet. Sigh. Maybe an AP rate for May will come out and we'd at least have that option. pixiedust:

We were offered overflow rates for our upcoming trip in April - prices were $140 plus tax at POR, $159 plus tax at CSR and POFQ - we ended up booking a package with AAA so we could get the dining
