Any word on when SOG will be open? We have ressies for early April and are wondering if things will be ready?

Or ressies are for June, but the last I heard, the opening was pushed to March.

We also have reservations for April. We have been told that they HAVE to be open by March because that have already bumped it back from a December opening and too much money would be lost if they can't open in March.
We can only wait and see!!!!

Has anyone been there lately? How is the progress coming?
I am just a big worry wart! But after reading the info on the Polynesian and all the displaced guests, I wonder what the solution would be if SOG doesn't open by March. Our reservations are April 4th. I will be Easter and very crowded. Is there anything we can do now, such as over flow, to protect a reservation? I really don't want to be put at a DTD hotel. (no offense to those who love DTD), but we really want to be close to the Polynesian and MK.:(

kimmie-

Go to www.shadesofgreen.org ...

They have a time-lapse photography loop showing the progress. If for some reason they don't open in March, I'm sure that they'll work something out.
If they can't- they'll give you some options when they contact you.

Try not to worry........

I have been watching the web cams, and I don't see much progress. But, I certainly wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure they will work something out! They are just great that way!

It has been great being able to stay at the Contemporary for so little. We have taken advantage of it twice so far, with one more to go in December. I'll sure miss being able to see the MK from our window when SOG does open.

I too have been keeping my eyes out on the webcam. I agree, it dosen't look like they're getting much done. I'm really hoping that even if they get the resort completed, that the grounds don't look like you-know-what...everything is just so torn up. My family and I will be going there the last full week of May (23-29)
