NO zips or snaps (another reason we love 'em)- they do have a sort of built in belt, but you don't need to unbuckle to pull on/off. Also, my son is skinny, so we get the slims. The lined trekker pants are also great.

The trekkers are a bit more casual than the cargo pants. Also lined with jersey knit, so not as heavy as the fleece that is in the cargo pants.
We love lands end for comfy, durable pants.
