My dd just got a spacer put in yesterday she has lots of metal at the roof of her mouth and some on the sides. She is very uncomfortable and really dosen't want to eat anything today.
I am sure many of you have gone through this with your kids so any helpful advise or ideas would be appreciated.
She got it in late yesterday and had some soup for dinner and felt ok last night. Woke up this am very sore and uncomfortable and tried some rice krispies but really just drank the milk.
Other than the obvious soft foods like soup, oatmeal, maybe tuna do you have any suggestions on soft fairly nutritous (or at least filling for now) foods?
Thanks all -
TJ
