I just returned today from our 5 day trip and I rode Soaring for the first time. I was wondering what everyone thinks about the new attraction :earboy2: :

I saw it on Sunday and I really liked it!
I did have a strange sensation at first like I was going to fall out ( I have no fear of heights) but it got better after a few minutes. I highly recommend!

I'm embarrassed to admit I got kinda choked up my first time on it! It was just so much more fantastic than I thought it would be. We went for a quick second time and it was just as good! We loved it! I think it' s going to be a "do not miss"!

Disney Dad Says...........................................

Rode it twice at California Adventure.

The first time we were on the bottom left side. It was ok, but we saw dangling feet from the people above us and took away some of the flight sensation.

The second time we were on the top row in the middle, the best seats in the house!!! This was the first time the second time I went on a ride was ten times better than the first! I felt like I was flying!

We actually decided not to ride it a third time, in case we ended up in the bottom row.

We rode it last week and loved it. I'm not crazy about flying in planes or riding roller coasters, but I felt fine on this ride. It was really cool!

We loved it and rode it twice, once on the top, front row and the second time on the middle row. We all liked the top row best.:)

Loved it... We got the top row in middle twice. It's the best seats in the house. When we rode the bottom row, we liked the surfing part. Felt like we were going to get our feet wet. :earsgirl:

Loved it no matter which row we were in. Isabella adored it and wanted to ride it over and over.

Loved it in California, love it in Florida! I'm glad it made it's way to Epcot!

Loved it!! Both times, we asked to wait for a front seat, and they easily accomodated us. Second time we got braver, and actually leaned a bit forward.

,,,is Soarin' OK for people who get motion sickness easily (like my DH)? He can't ride Mission Space or RnR Coaster or teacups, etc. etc. Will he tolerate Soarin'?

I hope so - we leave in 5 days!!! :cool1: :Pinkbounc :cool1:

There are a lot of threads here regarding Soarin' and motion sickness and it looks good for your DH, grumpyandbashful, because most people who suffer report no problems :flower: ! Have fun riding  ! We will be up and Soarin, ourselves come September! Woooo hooo :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

It's a cool ride. I even got my parents on when they came to visit earlier this month and that's no small feat! :rotfl:

Soarin' ride count: 10

Here are a few pix I took:

I loved Soarin' :cloud9:, an excellent addition to Epcot. We rode it 3 times when we were there at the beginning of May. I found 2 hidden Mickey's, one on the golf ball and one in the fireworks over Disneyland. Anyone else see them?
