Soaring, What do you think

Soarin is completely awesome. It has replaced TT as my favorite Epcot ride. I'm someone who will never, ever hang glide, and this is as close as they could possibly come to the experience.

I get motion sickness very easily and I had no problem on Soarin! Even my daughter is afraid of most rides loved it!! It is really a great ride!

I have a fear of heights and am prone to motion sickness but I had very little trouble on Soarin'. I was a little nervous when we seemed to be tipping forward, but I could hang on to the safety bar and feel confident. The ride was worth it!

My whole family loved it, from my 5 year old son to my parents and in-laws. The first time we were on the top and that was excellent. The second time we were in a different row and we could see some feet above, but it was still excellent! Can't wait to ride it again in a few days!

My son and I even have a Soarin' chant. Whenever we talk about it we say: "Let's Go Soarin' " and raise our fists up on the word Soarin'

i have done this ride about 7 or 8 times.. and I think its really important where you sit.

I did it the first time and we were in the bottom row right at the sides. I came off saying.. ok... that was good.. but nothing amazing.

The next time we rode were in the middle row, centre.. and it was amazing!!

I dont think it makes that much difference which row you are in (although the top one is the best!!;) ) but what DOES make a difference is where in the row you are left to right.

Centre and around centre seem to offer the most realistic sensations. At the sides you can get easily distracted and can see the edge of the screen. in the middle its amazing!

We just got back last night from Disney and we were at EPCOT on Friday and rode this three times and we all loved it. First and second times we were on the top row, center and third time we were in middle row, center. I can ride RNR, SP, BTMR, etc. and have no problems, but this did give me a different sensation and I was a bit nervous each time I rode. I dont like heights when I am not strapped into something with a bar or harness (RNR type) and just having the seatbelt freaked me out a bit. I also had to keep my eyes shut until we were up past the clouds. For some reason this worked a number on me, but once up I enjoyed it. I also had the fear of falling out and leaned back in my seat and held on tight. My DD7 kept leaning forward and I had to make her sit back. Everyone in our group from DD7 to Grandma and Grandpa loved this. We didnt even have to wait long. We grabbed a fast pass before getting on the first time and waited standby for maybe 15 mins. Went over and rode Living with the Land and then it was time for our fast passes and rode it again. Third time we had gotten a fast pass and only waited about 5-7 mins with the general line we merged into while the standby was at 70mins.

I rode it four times in my 10 day trip, three times with FP, and another time right at park opening. I always rode in the first row, (I asked to be seated there, and was always accomodated, may of been because of me being solo though,) and it was excellant every time. I heard they may change the movie clips to around the world, which would better suit Epcot's theme, but I'm sure the ride would be just as good. This is now my favorite theme park ride.

Everyone in our group LOVED Soarin' although we wished it lasted longer. I have a fear of heights but this didn't bother me at all.

My 7yr old DD and I loved it - I'm already looking forward to next year so I can ride it again!!!

We love Soarin'! I was petrified my first time, as I do get motion sickness...but no problem! I have to close my eyes on the part when it goes through the city, but other than that, just an awesome ride!!

Great ride!! DH and I rode it 8 times when we were at WDW 11/1-11/8!! Can't wait to go back and ride it again!! :Pinkbounc
