Where is this going to be exactly? Looking at the map, Test Track and Misson Space are on one side, where is Soarin going to be?

soarin' is going to be where food rocks used to be in the Land pavillion. that was on the first floor sort of across from the living with the land boat ride.

The entrance to Soarin is in the Land Pavilion but they built a building behind it for the ride itself.

I assume that you are from Oklahoma? I am too!!! We have been on Soarin' many times at California Adventure in Dianyland Resort!!! It is AMAZING!!! In fact, we will be there in about 20 days!!!! Do not miss it!!!

The opening for Soarin' states Spring 2005 but does anyone know a more exact date? We'll be there at the end of May and I'm hoping it will be finished by then. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun.

Hi ---I am really excited to ride Soarin on my May trip but I can't seem to find a description of the ride?? It doesn't look (I saw a pic in my Disney Visa flyer) like a thrill ride? I will be 6mths pregnant when I am there so I just want to know is this an ok ride(like Peter Pan etc.) to ride when you are pregnant or should I just plan on skipping it?? Thanks!

Isn't it more like an IMAX thing with suspended/moving chairlift-type seating?

My husband gets bad motion sickness. We he be able to handle this ride?

It is a fun and gentle ride. There are 3 sections with each section having 3 rows of seats about 10-12 across. There is a place to store your items under your seat and a seatbelt. The ride takes off and lifts you into the air. You can see the people off to the side and the feet of some people hanging above if you look around. The seats move like you are a bird flying. You see the ocean, mountains, desert, orange groves, golfing- watch out for the golfball coming at you! downtown LA, san diego navel carrier and then back to disneyland at night in all its glory. There are also smells that match the images on the screen. You tend to forget about the ride part because you are awed by the images on the screen. We are disneyland passholders and used to ride soarin all the time but now the lines are so long it is not worth us waiting for it- we are used to no waits at California adventure but the word is out about Soarin.

We were just at Epcot last week. They have done a fantastic job of painting the exterior building of Soarin..... when it is sunny, and the skies are blue, you can look at it and not even see it. It blends right in with the scenery, so it doesn't distract from the view from the World Showcase.
