Well, since "Stitch" dates were only made public about a month in advance, check back in March / April for more details.
Soarin is located in The Land pavilion. The entire pavilion will be closing January - March '05 for final ride integration and re-theming. The earliest soft opening could occur would conceivably be the beginning of April. Current rumor is they want it open in time for the Disneyland 50th celebration, which formally starts on 5/5/05. But, I doubt anyone at WDW would shed any tears if they missed that date by a few weeks.
The entrance to Soarin is in the Land Pavilion but they built an entire new building for Soarin behind the Land. They are doing the theming in that area to reflect airline travel.
We are heading down during the last week in April - does anyone believe that we could be able to experience Soarin at that time? How have other rides of that magnitude opened (early?, late?, right on time?)? I'm curious....

As stated, completely unknown at this time. "Stitch" was a relatively painless refurb of the Alien Encounter attraction. But by all accounts, it's opening at least a month later than the original target.
Soarin is based upon a tried-and-true attraction in Anaheim, which certainly helps. But I'd be surprised if we know much more before March.
