Trying to sort out our FP+s for sept.
Epcot is tough with the tiering.
Which would be better to do at rd or shortly after, soarin or TT?

Take your pick. Honestly, I don't think it matters. We've done Soarin' at RD with a TT FP+. We entered from IG and high-tailed it to Soarin'. We waited about 10 minutes as the FW entrants beat us there. I think it really depends on your touring plan. If you are going to spend more time in the TT side of FW, I would RD Soarin' and then schedule your TT FP+ for later

We're doing FP at Soarin', figuring we can always do the single rider line if necessary at TT.

Besides, for us Soarin' in the higher priority. I would hate to miss it.

We always go to Test Track first simply because it is the only attraction on that side of Future World. Once done, we head over to the other side of FW.

The lines are interchangeably long, but not interchangeably interesting. If you have to wait 45+ minutes for either, make it TT. That line is more interactive and "fun" (to the extent that any line is fun.) The Soarin’ line is torture. Best to bypass that one.

Thanks We've done both many times at park opening not in any particular order. But, I've never bothered to note or compare which standby line filled up more quickly.

We chose TT because we have not seen the re-done version. To me, since the rides are tiered, I wish 1 hour was added to park hours adjust for that as well.

I was thinking this same thing. We have 2 Epcot days, and I'm thinking of doing FP for Soarin on both days because the TT queue is better.

On our past trip in June we headed straight to Test Track at rope drop.......maybe a 10- 15 min wait, then we had a FP for Soarin right after...worked well for us:) When we got to Soarin...about 9:30 the stand by line was long...we waited about 10-15 min with our FP.

We usually try to get Test Track done as early as possible especially in the summer when there is always a chance of afternoon rain. Plus as others have said their queue is more entertaining then Soarin...we love Soarin but don't like the stand by line for it.

Yes! Good points.

The Soaring que is torture! Disney really needs to add some entertainment while waiting on that boring disorganized line. Being a conductor just doesn't cut it.

Get FP for Soarin. I feel like it takes longer to get into the Soarin ride .....just from rope drop because you have to go downstairs after getting inside the building. For us TT is easier to book it to without a FP.

We booked FP for Soarin and did TT at rope drop. I've seen TT break down regularly and it doesn't run in inclement weather. By being front of the line at the turnstiles, we were able to get in the first design cycle of TT using Standby both days we visited.

OK - "Part B" of this question: We are coming in via Int'nl Gateway and want to have a quick breakfast (maybe 30 mins) in France. What would you do?....

Rush to do TT on standby at park opening and then back-track to France for the breakfast or just do breakfast as soon as we enter IG, then proceed to TT and hope for decent standby line still at about 9:45 (???)
(Additional info: we don't do the single rider line bc we just enjoy going in a car together and this will be in Sept with our 2 Epcot days predicted to be 1 and 2 crowd levels)

I know no one can say for sure, just looking for opinions here. Thanks! :)

I wouldn't run (it's not a pretty sight on me;)), but I'd go do TT first, and then backtrack to France for breakfast. I think TT lines increase exponentially pretty fast, so I think you'd lose a bit of time if you did it the other way around. I don't know about you, but we always rope drop Epcot, and we always run out of stuff to do before WS opens! Breakfast would give you something else to fill the time.

What's good for breakfast in France?

I'm thinking the same. Plus, if we ate breakfast first, I think I'd feel the niggling sense, while I ate, that the TT lines were growing longer with each bite. Not a relaxing breakfast!

Sry forgot to answer! Oh my! The pastries! and then there's the more savory things like a baguette and cheeses and fruit. I've not been since they expanded Les Halles, but I'm looking fwd to it!!

Would anything be open in France for Breakfast? The World Showcase usually doesn't open until 11 with the exception of the character Bfast in Norway, that is the only place I think is open before 11.

I think Les Halles serves all day. I've seen some breakfast reviews. It does look good!
