Did you all hear that they will be airing another season in the fall too...the first non-summer season? Yay!

I just came on here to post that! I so want to watch the show, but I tried once or twice and she just made me so jittery and crazy....it was a very unpleasant experience. Maybe I'll try again.

I've watched SYTYCD from the very first episode of the very first season. I absolutely love it and am thrilled that it is back!

Thought you might like this just in case you don't get to see him this season.

My daughter (the shorty with the short hair) and her friends met him AND his mom. He was in several of the same advanced scared1 classes that they were in when they did a PULSE summer intensive in NYC.

We're excited for another season of SYTYCD. Watched them all, but thought last season was not one of the better ones. DD18 was going to audition for this season, but decided not to. She had a lot of dance friends and dance instructors that really encouraged her to audtion, but I think she was a bit intimidated at the prospect. She had several friends audition, but none of them made it as far as the judges.

One friend made it through the improv and got cut right before the final level in front of the judges. She's an excellent dancer, but she did say that she felt they were looking more for "quirky" type of dancers this season and not so much for contemporary.

Hope it's a good season!

I'm in! Last season was the first I have watched and I really enjoyed it! I am not a big fan of the contemporary stuff (non-dancer here) so I prefer the more "quirky" contestants. Hopefully this is a great season!

Does anyway want to talk on here live while the show is going on? We did it last season and it was fun...

And for all the Mary Haters, I highly suggest Tivoing or turning the channel when she's ready to talk. She's a LOT less annoying than she was in the beginning, but I still hate leaving the screams up to chance.
