I'm really pulling for the krumper too. I find it hard to believe that he has no other training. I think it'll hurt him if he lied about that.

I could have sworn they asked him during the initial auditions.

He said something about being able to do all styles or whatever, but I got the impression that he had training.

I was surprised when he said he had nothing.

However, Justin a few seasons ago who won--did not disclose prior training (I think it was a while ago) and he popped in some moves during Vegas week and he was "busted" so to speak. He didn't lie--but I don't think they ever asked.

Maybe the Krumper had "lessons" but didn't count it as "training", I don't know.

But my impression was quite different when he initially auditioned.

I still like him though.

I swear I remember the crumper telling the judges last week he had trained in just about everything, including ballet? My DVR has been down since yesterday afternoon so I couldn't go back to the show & check that out, but my daughter thought the same thing.

Okay--then maybe I'm not out of my mind--I could have sworn the same thing too.

She was in the last tryout show and had a small interview on that show. Her solo and the feedback from the judges was really nice. She was teh girl who could hold a handstand for a long time and flipped upside down while the judges talked to her

I LOVED the end of last nights show. Seeing the judges moved to tears over the amazing solos really moved me. Both judges and dancers are so dedicated to their art and get such joy from it - I just find it very inspirational.

The kid that they showed at the end - Billy I think -that had Adam in tears - was just so amazingly beautiful. The way he moved was just breathtaking.

Billy was the one who got a bloody nose last week and did the Cha Cha with basically no rehearsal time. He really is good.

What was the name of the other girl that sprained her ankle? The one that didn't get to do a solo at the end? I hope she makes it. I liked her too.

I do not like the ballroom couple. Well, I mean her. She makes too many faces and it makes me crazy.

ITA. Loved her actual work - but the judging was IMO worse than listening to Mary scream

Mia's choreography is almost beyond compare and I will really miss that.

As far as my hopes for top 20. The crunk guy has to go there. Gah! I can't remember his name. He is my favorite, and such an underdog he has to make it. I am just so amazed with him. He has proven he can pick up on everything they throw at him without formal training.

I am so sorry to hear this. Although Mia sometimes annoys me, her routines have been the best on the show. I think she will be missed.

yeah - I don't know what is up with Mia. I really hope she isn't sick or anything. That is what I first thought with the hair. She is obviously having some 'issues' so maybe a break is in order.

I'm ok with the top 20. I'm sad about Paula Van Oppen, I think she would have been great for the show. Definitely a front runner. I think TPTB held her back from Season 5 to have her in season 6. She is young so hopefully she'll come back to the show and this doesn't hurt her for further seasons. I hope her movie is successful.

I'm thrilled for the krumper, he is an early fav of mine. Happy for Bianca too. I was glad to see Mollee Gray make it and I'm hoping she matures quickly. She very much reminds me of my best friend from HS. She went to Broadway after school but looking so young really hurt her. She did some touring companies before moving on.

Now that we know who's in the top 20, my top of season picks are Billy, Bianca & another tapper whose name escapes me right now -- I believe he's the one who was Ryan's roommate. The two tappers have been my picks from their 1st auditions, which surprised me because ordinarily tap is not very appealing to me. Billy blew me away through the Vegas round & I can't believe the talent at his age.

I knew from the first time Mollee was on screen she was going top 20. Not. A. Fan.

Of course, season 5 I was very upset when Jeannette was put through to top 20. Especially after seeing the live tour I still believe she was the best dancer in the field. Maybe I'll be proven wrong again.

I LOOVVEE the krumper. I think he is excellent in every style we have seen him in so far. Did they mention whether or not he has had training in different styles? I'm surprised the husband and wife team made it...even though she made it because Paula dropped out I am still surprised.
I don't think Legacy will make it very far, I don't wish him any bad but I just don't think he can handle the difficult choreography like the others can.

Can't wait to really start the season!!

ETA: I forgot to mention Billy, he is phenomenal. I see him going VERY far.

My picks are Billy and the crumper. No girls really wowed me yet - but it is still really early. I feel bad for those that have gotten NO screen time. It is hard to make up for that. It seems like a really talented group.

I am also very disappointed over Mia. I think something is up. She was out of sorts even last night.

I wonder how much time elapses between the Vegas round and the results. I noticed everyones hair was significantly longer! (The one guy who had his head shaved after they said his hair was distracting, had a full head of hair when the told him he was in.)

Does anyone know what movie she signed a contract for? Unless she has a major role, I wonder what would give her more exposure - the movie or SYTYCD?

I suspect the krumper (why can't any of us recall his name?!) is going to be a real fan favorite. I'm really curious about his background, becuase he did seem to handle the other styles well for someone who supposedly didn't have any training. Put me in his camp too, as well as Billy, Bianca and the girl who hurt her foot (not Molly).

I too wonder how much time is in between. It seems to be at least a few weeks. The other hurt ankle girl was healed and the boys hair differences were noticeable.

There are some gossip blogs and overseas sources speculating that Mia has cancer due to the shaved head.
