So who would be interested in a VA/MD/NC/AZ meet after Christmas???

I know we mentioned this in chat last week but I just thought I would throw the idea out to you guys and see who might be interested in getting together after Christmas. I was thinking maybe the first weekend in January.

When I get an idea of how many people are interested. I'll scout around for locations in central Virginia. Everyone, old members and new members, is welcome and encouraged to come! And no, you don't have to be from VA/MD/NC/AZ to come.. we would love to have people from all over the country! We have a great time laughing, talking and trading pins! And if we work really hard maybe we can convince the AZ part to show up for this meet

So who is up for a get-together?

You know my family would be interested! Sundays are better than any other day of the week - the 6th or the 13th would work best (since we'll be in WDW the 20th and on our way home the 27th )

We'd love to come. Not sure if it would be all of us (five) or just some of us. There is basketball schedule to consider. As of right now, I don't know that we have a preference for either 1/6 or 1/13.

Keep us posted! We may decide to come down the night before.

But do we really have to wait until January? I was really hoping for a "holiday" pin meet--cause January is 3 months away! Don't tell me.......too many people are going to be in WDW during December!! I am just going to have to resume my official duties as vice president of the Whiner's Club; in fact, since Darlene has been elevated to Vice-Peachident, I think I should just assume the duties of President--I don't want to wait that long!!!

Well we could try to wedge in a MacArthur Mall pin meet sometime between now and then on a weekend afternoon. We normally have our meets on a weeknight b/c it's easier for everyone involved - but if some NoVa and Richmond natives (not to mention some NC residents I know!) want to trek to Norfolk, VA one weekend just let me know. Schedules are pretty tight with the holidays coming up, though! Not to mention the fact that most of us work in retail - it's almost impossible to get a day off in November or December

Pin Meet!!!! Where??? When???? Sorcerer -- If you have one in November or December we might be able to find our way. Just not between 11/30 and 12/10. Maybe we can show our pictures from Disneyana. I will be sure to bring Pintrader Figment. I might let JudySue ride along also.

If you have it the first week of January I can make it too. I am off work until Martin Luther King Day, which is January 18th I think.
It is nice working at a college, that time off from Christmas till the middle of January is so nice. And I can make a meet, I won't have to work weekends. Peggie

I think in order to obtain authorization to change the name to MD/VA/NC/AZ/TN meet, you have to attend at least once . . .

On the other hand, this really should be called the NH/MA/RI/CT/MD/VA/NC/KY/PA/AZ meet anyway. And I probably missed a few states too.

Have we really had people attend from all of these states? That is cool! I guess some of these attended the first Parkhopper meet in June.. I'm sorry I missed meeting some of you that time!
Before long, I bet we can just be called the Eastern half of the USA meets! And then we have to work our way up to the USA pin meets!!! OH WAIT------ THAT'S what we did in Florida in August right??? (thanks again for that Lauri and Jeff )
