I really think they overpriced this. There is a small contingent of "I'll pay anything" people that will make it sell out for the first several months. After that, how many people are really willing to pay $6000 for a family of four for TWO NIGHTS?!? Wouldn't you rather pay that much for a 7 night cruise? I predict deep discounts after the first year or so.
We will probably do it. We did a Star Wars Day at Sea and it was one of the best cruises we have done. We had such a fun time. We signed up do to the same cruise the following yea, but then covid hit. We aren't super fans by any means - I enjoy the older movies and have seen the newer ones as well, but the immersion of the characters on the ship was really cool and this experience is even more intense so sign me up!
It’s a hard no for me, which I expected. I assume solo travelers would be on the hook to pay for two people, similar to how cruises are priced. I haven’t cruised either. I could get at least two ten night vacations out of what I would pay for a two day SW experience.
We took a 8-week road trip around the U.S over the summer, mostly visiting national parks. We probably spent a little over $15,000. This would cost hardly more than a third of that, for only 54 fewer days.
Looks like it will/should be an awesome experience wether or not you are a fan.
We are out........I will take the $$ and cruise instead.
If they were to offer a DVC point chart, might might consider it if I had an excess of points - but even then........it's probably a no. I never say never though
