I know the pilots and the flight attendants have all come to agreements, but what is the general consensus regarding NWA and the whole bankruptcy thing? Are they going to be around? Is there the possibility that they could still go under soon?

I am looking into taking advantage of the free dining and Northwest is offerring some awesome fares during that time period, but I am a little leary. I am finding $198 before fees for okay flight times and $240 for perfect flight times--leaving here in the morning and there in the late afternoon. They are showing quite a bit below Sun Country and I have to say flying Sun Country during hurricane season has me a little worried. Feels like NWA might have more options to get me home if problems arise.

So, will they still be there? I am just shocked at the prices for MSP to MCO. Those are good rates for us.

We booked NWA yesterday for the free dining and got a $217 flight from MSP to MCO. While the thought of something happening to NWA crossed my mind, the overwhelming urge to go to Disney quickly pushed that thought aside! :)
