So what's the discount?

I posted this thread on the budget board and got no response...49 people looked at it but no one could help me I guess....maybe someone here can.

Anyway, last month I priced a trip for 7 days with dining and it was around 3 grand. Today I checked on the price (same details) and it was almost a thousand dollars cheaper! Anyone know what the discount is (if there is one)?

Any details you can share, such as when the trip is, what resort, how many people (I assume 4 but you never know), what type of tickets, etc?

I priced a trip for 4 for 7 days at POP with dining. Last month the site said 3400.00 and this month it is saying 2035.00!!! So I am thinking some kind of discount has been applied for that much of a price difference. (I didn't change anything about the details).

Was the first trip with free dining? You have the dates exactly the same?

The discount is around 40%. It is simple math. I have no idea why you got it but I would book and pay it off as soon as possible.

Awesome price! They did extend the 40% discount not long ago. Not sure of the timing, but they also extended the CM's discount at the same time. It was fairly recently, though.

Maybe I should have been more clear...when I asked "what's the discount?" I meant as in free dining, free nights, etc. I know what the percentage is.

Sorry! I wasn't trying to be snarky or anything. Some people have no clue about percentages. That is just the way I read it.

I am a Disney certified travel agent...as far as I know, the only discounts out are for room only. I haven't seen on for packages. It is an awesome price and I would probably book it if I came across it.
