So, what's NOT included on the cruise?

I believe all non alcoholic drinks are complimentary everywhere. But I may be wrong.

Room service is free food is included, so why wouldn't the drinks be.

We have never gone to the bars. Are soft drinks complimentary at the bars and lounges? This time I am dragging my DH out after dinner.

Candy and popcorn outside the theaters are extra.

Coffee and specialty drinks at Cove Cafe are extra.

That all I can think of right now.

You are incorrect. Non-alcoholic Specialty drinks are a charge. Room service FOOD, is FREE, Room Service soft drinks, are canned and a charge. Bar drinks are ALL a charge.

would Shirley Temples in the dining room have an up-charge? They are 7up w/ grenadine and maraschino cherry

Excursions aren't included. Bingo not included. I believe that soda/juice in the dining room & soda/ juice from room service is a charge, even though soda at the drink station is free. Maybe someone can confirm or correct that one..

Fountain soda in the dining rooms is no charge. If you purchase a CAN of soda through room service, at the bars, or from the snack stand outside of the theater, there IS a charge.

I agree, I had the same reaction that you had to pay for popcorn when so many better and more costly things were no charge. Beats me, especially when a great many places give popcorn away.
Actually it is to help the ship be profitable. Obviously people expect certain things to be included in their fare on a cruise, they don't necessarily expect popcorn for the shows to be included.

Many people, especially in the U.S. are accustomed to eating popcorn when they go to the movies.

Popcorn is indeed very low cost to make, but that means it becomes a high profit item, which helps the cruise to offset some of the people, such as those who don' drink alcohol, that end up costing the cruise line more than they make.

You are incorrect. Non-alcoholic Specialty drinks are a charge. Room service FOOD, is FREE, Room Service soft drinks, are canned and a charge. Bar drinks are ALL a charge.
You can get Shirely Temples and the like for free at dinner, basically if a bartender must mix it or it cones in a can, that is when it costs money.
