If you were going to go to WDW next Feb during Presidents week? We did it last year and really had a good time.
We would like to stay at OKW next. So since I have to borrow points I can not decide if I should:
(A)-Book SSR @ 11 month window, reserving all nights except the last friday before we leave. (Since booking all nights would require me to borrow more points than a stay at OKW would use.) Then @ the seven month window try to change it to OKW on a day to day basis and add the friday at that point.
or
(B) Wait until the seven month window and try to book OKW then on a day to day basis.

:confused3

book at SSR when you can.

then change to OKW - don't know if you need to call day by day- definitley call that first morning and ask the MS if you need to call day by day at OKW for this reservation. they know how many units they have and how hard to get they will be.

I don't think you'll have a problem at the 7 month window for OKW. I booked two villas at VWL at 6 months for President's Week this year. If you'll feel better, go ahead and book SSR and change over to OKW. I'm 99% sure you won't need to do day by day reservations at 7 months either, I didn't.

I was thinking about waiting for the 7 mo. window. When we went last time I was able to get SSR at 5 mos. out.

Unless you are trying for a GV, I agree with the others - you won't need to do day by day.

You should be fine at the 7 month mark, and no need to do day by day for that.
