So what ride do you feel Disney could have done so much more with?

Are there any attractions that you feel missed the mark but had a lot more potential?

For me it is a 2-way tie;

1. Under the Sea - Little Mermaid Ride - When I heard they were making a Little Mermaid ride, I imagined something like soarin' in a boat form - lots of underwater imagery... And when I went on the ride I felt like I was in an animatronic hell.

2. Lightning McQueen at Hollywood Studios - While the McQueen and Mater cars were cute, they could have done so much more. A lightning mc queen ride (i'm imagining a much, much tamer version of test track with a lightning McQueen theme, or something like tomorrowland speedway) would have been so fantastic at that park!

What do you think could have been so much better?

Kali River Rapids. It's way too short and under themed in my opinion. I love rapids rides and this one is my least favorite. The Popeye ride at Universal is SO much better.

OP, get out to California Adventure!

Little Mermaid is the same there BUT the lines for it are so much shorter. The enjoyment of that ride (of any ride, but especially a ride like that) increases exponentially with a *shorter* line.

Also, Radiator Springs Racers.

The Popeye ride at Universal is SO much better.

Yes. Also, Grizzly at DCA. Much better than Kali.

They could easily do a Cars overhaul to the Tomorrowland Speedway. In fact, I don't know why they haven't or what they're waiting for. Or just do a total redo - I've never ridden it, but I have seen mostly negative reviews for it being outdated and slow. Theming it might save it.

I also feel like The Magic Carpets of Aladdin could have done with some better theming. They already had Dumbo and Astro Orbiters for spinning rides (and now also have TriceraTop Spin). Making the Magic Carpets an INDOOR spinning top ride with either animatronics or something to represent the actual magic carpet ride from the movie would have vastly improved it and made it something different.

personally i love under the sea just how it is.
we have gone on it sometimes 3 times in a row!
its our new favorite at MK.

for me they could have done so much more with 7DMT.
i was looking for it to be a little bit like splash mountain in that it has a storyline along with the little bit of thrill.
i wish that it would have at least been a little longer of a ride.

I know, I know I really should! I hear it's such an amazing park. It's just such a short flight from JFK to MCO!! DH and the kids hate long flights, i'd have a mutiny on my hands

the line may be winding but its never long.
in fact i've never had to actually wait in line.
its just a matter of walking through it and climbing right into a shell.

Journey Into Imagination-I remember riding the old one, and every time I go on the new one, I think how good it could be with some *imagination*

On Kali River Rapids, it was much better when they had the fire still going in the ride. (I'm assuming they have just quit using it, and it wasn't just broken when we were on it) I know its a little thing, but I guess for me its a theming issue.

I thought FEA would be more like "frozen ever after" vs the same old frozen. I would like to see Imagination redone and the tomorrow land speedway but I think tomorrowland speedway still gets crowded and there is still a line so nothing will be done for a long time
