So, we're thinking of going to Disneyland...

We did Disneyland this summer, and I really loved it. We felt like we really covered the parks thoroughly in 4 days. After a week at WDW, there is still plenty you have not seen. I think the single best attraction anywhere is Soaring over California. There is just nothing else like it.

We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and had a nice, large room. Very well laid out. I loved how we could walk everywhere with no need for busses or transfers. They have the monorail and it was fun to ride, but not necessary to actually get places.

We went in the summer and the weather was unbelievable. I see why people move to CA. Never hot, never cold. Really beautiful.

I absolutley was not disappointed by Disneyland, and honestly, the smaller size was appealing to me. There is still so much to do, but you won't feel like you went home without doing everything you wanted to.

I also loved the Unlimited Fast Passes. What a time saver! We got all our Fass passes for attractions we wanted to ride that day, then kept track of the times and went on about our day, hitting each one in its appointed time. So easy! Not sure if it was a special offer last year, or if it is still available on some tickets. Be careful, because not all the tickets included unlimited fast passes, but one particuar one did.

I can't imagine anyone who truly loves Disney would be disappointed with DLR. The experience is a bit different from WDW (our home park), but well worth the trip.:earsboy:
