Did I hear correctly this morning that the child is actually 14 years old and Maria and The Other Woman were pregnant at the same time

I also want to know how he laundered the child support money? Somebody had to know all these years that he was paying child support. I am sure it wasn't a small amount that kept this woman hushed.

A few sources reporting this morning:

The boy is 10 or 11.

The mother is Mildren Patricia "Patty" Baena.

She has three other children.

She made $1,200 a week while employeed by Arnold & Maria.

The boy looks like Arnold.

As for Mildred, she may have been a bit different 10 years ago (thinner, younger etc...). As for comparing her to Shriver, well I've always thought Maria Shriver looked like Skeletor or the Crypt Keeper.

Nope, she is leaving him now and I agree, good for her. Cheating is the worst thing that someone could do to their spouse. There is never a jusifiable reason for it. One of the lowest things you can do.

I just don't think that this is the first time that he has been with other women. There have been rumors and stories around for years that he had cheated on her.


I never could understand how anyone could hate and entire family. Just because they have the name Kennedy or came from their family line.

Oh, I understand it. They are knee deep in crap or at least Joe was and probably most of the older ones. Now I am not saying she is, and yes I do agree with her leaving. But those Kennedy's. They are a piece of work.

Gross generalizations are ridiculous. There are many really great celebs, and I assume politicians, in the world who have great family lives and who are great people. You just don't hear about them because they aren't doing anything to draw attention. We only hear about those who are doing things they shouldn't be doing.

Or most likely, because they haven't been caught. And lets not forget how many times celebs get divorced and remarry at the drop of the hat. Gross generalizations, I don't think so. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I have no respect for either of these groups.

We know what one of her duties was.

I think Arnold is a skank and so is the woman but I have no problem with her drawing a paycheck as long as she did the work. What they did later or how he 'supported' his child is a different story. It sounds like they were part of the 'family' though which would be the hardest thing to wrap ones brain around were I one his Shriver children or Maria. I think this little boy is going to suffer greatly because his life is going to change - his Dad is no longer his 'dad' and he knows his mom is a liar. His siblings could greatly resent him, even though eventually I'm guessing they will not hold him responsible. I hope Maria's brothers can step in and give these kids some support while she grieves, they need adults in their lives who can cope. Maria will eventually be fine but the 13 and 17yo boys especially are in high school and in the roughest time of their lives anyway-emotionally and developmentally.

It does look like the Tom Sawyer raft!! So Arnold sent his "other" family to WDW? Or could this be in Disneyland?

While I feel for Maria Shriver, she is an adult and defended him years ago when he was accused of groping all those women. I'm sure there were other signs that Arnold wasn't the most faithful guy in the world.

I really feel for all the children involved in this mess. They didn't choose their parents.

ITA. Certainly don't mean to imply she deserves this, just saying that my sympathies lie with the children more than Shriver. She can divorce the scumbag; the kids can't.

No she didn't. But, she has to own her part. She was an enabler. If she plays the clueless victim role, she won't heal. She has to figure out what she did wrong and move on. We tell people to not walk alone at night. Why? Because yup may put yourself in a dangerous situation. Not your fault if you're robbed, but you don't walk around nonchalantly either.

You have to remember, these people have accountants, personal assistants etc., Maria probably never saw how much the other women was being paid. It sounds like she was very close to the family, she cooked, cleaned etc., for the family for over 20 years. I have a feeling this wasn't a one time thing and it probably was going on for awhile. Maybe that is why Maria moved out in January-she probably caught him and he probably confessed about the child or the other women did, when Maria fired her. Who retires today at 50.

This isn't her fault, by a long shot. Maria would be to blame if she gave her consent for Arnold to sleep with this woman. Do you think Arnold consulted her before he did it?
