So Truth Comes Out..Arnold Schwarzenegger Has Other Child!

I heard on the news that she not sure she is going to divorce him,

on the radio this morning they were saying that Arnold had an office (that he held prior to and while he was govenor) that served as a brothel with co-eds (usc, etc) and businessmen, politicians, etc that he funded....wouldn't surprise me in the least.

If Shriver goes back to him, I would probably lose all respect and sympathy for her.

A sexual indiscretion I could possibly forgive, if I believed my spouse was truly a wonderful person who made a very big mistake but was truly remorseful and would never do it again. Even if a child resulted from that indiscretion and he owned up to it, and all the above was true, and he was going to do the right thing by that child, maybe then I could forgive.

But for 10 years he kept this a secret from his wife and all his children. He only admitted it because the truth was about to come out anyway. He's a creep and a manipulator and a liar, and there's no way I could forgive him and take him back. I really hope she doesn't.

Imagine how those women felt that were sexually harrassed by her husband? And then to have her defend him even AFTER he admitted (by apologizing for doing it) that he did it.

Sorry. I don’t think she is a good person to stand by him and defend him after he sexually harrased women.

I'm not buying the idea that Maria didn't know. I think it was a combined effort from the both of them to conceal this.

First, the housekeeper would never continue to clean house after having Arnold's child. Period. Her friend's say she pursued him. I can't imagine that she would clean after Maria and the children for 13+ years and never have a moment when she wasn't tempted to say something.

And who would work a job such as a housekeeper while getting paid $$$ from the baby Daddy?

No, I think Maria knew. Maybe not from the start, but shortly after. The woman is hispanic. It is being said her husband was hispanic. The child is blond. Her husband probably knew as well and kept his mouth shut because of the $$$.

They kept her "employed" to keep her close and cover up any finanical recordkeeping. Anyone looking into Arnold's finances would only notice a salaried employee. Much easier to handle while running for political office.

I'm sure Maria kept quiet because it was in her best interest. Arnold had two terms as governor. Plus I think she wanted to wait until her parents died before she pursued a divorce.

The timing is all too perfect. This was the plan all along. They are out of the governor's mansion. The baby momma is retired and living in a big house. The boy is probably getting to the age where he was he could have exposed Arnold.

Elisabeth Edwards kept quiet for the same reasons. The need for fame and power.

Absolutely! I'm not saying what Arnold and this other woman did was right. . .but I think that often times the wife knows and keeps quiet because of the perks of her lifestyle. This is soooo common among the affluent.

I also agree with RN that the cheater just doesn't wake up one day and decide to cheat. It is a symptom of problems within the marriage. I think they are two separate issues. . .the bad marriage and the cheating. I do think it's wrong to not deal with the bad marriage first before you decide to start something with somebody else. . .but it's straight cowardice. Arnold acted like a coward. . .and he did have a lot to lose. This other woman also acted like a coward (I believe she was married too). She too probably had a lot to lose. And yes, I do think Maria wasn't clueless. . .but she too had a lot to lose. Now this has all come to a head and blew up in their faces. . .all a result of choices they all made. I feel the saddest for the children that had no say in any of this. . .they are the true victims.

I agree. Ego is a factor sometimes in these things, not something lacking in the marriage.

If it was a one-night stand 14 years ago (or however old the boy is) and it resulted in a pregnancy, but there was no more relationship, I'd think about being forgiving and see if we can make the marriage work. The thing that bothers me is that Arnold continued to have the woman in his home. He should have let her go, felt remorse, and focus on his marriage for the rest of his life. But he kept her there which to me is a slap in the face to Maria.
