I don't think it is ok to sleep with a married person to save your job.

Look for another job, let him fire you and go after him with a huge sexual harassment suit, tell the wife. If a condition of my employment was sleeping with my married boss I would rather be on welfare than have that job. There ARE other options.

There is NO justification that would make me believe that sleeping with a married person is ok. There is nothing (aside from being forcibly raped by the married person) IMO that totally absolves the other person of any wrong doing.

It is no wonder so many people cheat and are cheated on. There are so many justifications people are using to make it "ok." She had to so she wouldn't lose her job. The recent thread saying men have to cheat because they aren't getting any at home. Come on. Aren't we better than this?

Also want to add that it's a sad day in journalism when CNN quotes TMZ's Harvey Levin as a "new source." It does look like TMZ will be revealing more of the details soon.

Ok, I did some digging and fully admit to being wrong.

According to Wiki (the ever-reliable go-to of the internet )"Stay" is from the perspective of the mistress, even though Nettles herself was cheated on.

Now I don't like the song anymore. I always thought it was about the wife left behind.

Funny, I'd never heard this song before, but reading the lyrics I definitely got the impression that it's from the "Other Woman's" POV. So then I searched YouTube for the video, and it includes some quotes from Jennifer Nettles, including: "What if you were bold enough to tell the story of that other woman, and what she feels like in loving someone that is not fully hers either and knowing that there's another woman that's hurting because she's in the picture?"
