So torn about my park schedule! What do you do?

We are going on family trip #10 in Oct (my 14th!), and I HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER use a recommended park from either easywdw or TP. And neither really recommends that park IF you arrive early and hop.

We are early risers and take advantage of every early EMH and get A TON done during it and the couple of hours afterwards. We usually take a midday break and hop to another park -- now that will be our FP+ park. It's worked beautifully for us in the past, and I can't see changing it. :thumbsup2

I don't personally put that much stock in the day-to-day predictions of these sites. I use them to have a general sense of overall crowds during the period we're going. I use them GENERALLY to help pick when to go.

option a: start at EMH park for 3-4 hours and hop to Josh's recommended park

option b: start & stay at Josh's recommended park

I feel pressured to figure this out as my fp+ window is approaching and I need to know where I'll be to reserve my times. Thanks for the help!

We are offsiters and only use base tickets...However, IF we were to stay onsite and use Hoppers, then plan A would be the one we would choose. It's the best of both worlds. Get tons done in the AM, take a break at the hotel to chill and swim, and then use FP+ selections at the most recommended park in the PM.

Have fun whatever you choose!

If you are up and at rope drop you can get a lot done before crowds come in. Then hop I the other park and use the FP. A lot of people like to sleep in on vacation and that can work to your advantage for sure
