So my 10 year old explained DVC to his 5th grade teacher......

WOW I think I just figured out what DVC's Best Kept Secret really is :yay: ....." Ultimate Future DVC Guides Training Academy " is at YOUR HOUSE !!!! :rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl2::worship: I LOVE IT. Notice my avatar picture of my dd from summer 08....;)

My son (9) explained it in his own clever way at school. "My Daddy bought part of Walt Disney World so we can go every year."

Seems simple enough to me. :) Technically he's right I guess.

:thumbsup2 Good job mom~~

My DS can quote the Disney Modern Marvels video as if he wrote it. Probably better. People never cease to be impressed with all the Disney knowledge that he has in his brain. He will tell anyone and everyone about Walt Disney and WDW. (He is really bad about correcting people who misspeak about Disney. We are working on letting it go.)
He sits with me anytime I review any DVC information. He loves to go on the DVC website and read up on resorts and such. (About the only thing he will read.:lmao:) It won't be long until he'll be doing like your son and "selling" DVC. Maybe I should give him the papers to hand out so he can earn his keep.:rotfl2:

Hmmm.... You know that guy that does this DVC renting coordination thing as a business... Sounds like some future competition :)

Seriously.

I think we are moulding the next generation.:thumbsup2

My son has always wanted to be an astronaut. Last year, he mentioned that he is planning to hire Disney contractors to built a Disney Park in Space. Cool I said!:thumbsup2

Then I thought :scared1:, I'm going to have a hard time getting a good seat sale for that trip!:lmao::lmao::rotfl2:

:goodvibes very cute

My 18 month old daughter loves looking at The Planning guide! I gave her the 2008 one when the 2009 finally showed up. Out of all her books... she pulls that one out at least once a day! I go through all the resort names as she looks at the pictures. I can't wait for the 2010 to come out, so I can give her the 2009!

That is too funny. My DS kinda did the same thing but to my DH. He was telling him how we can bank and borrow points and stay in the Grand Villa that accomodates 12 people. My DS had just watched the DVC video. It was pretty funny.

Maybe we can start an online petition to dump Ms. DeeVeeSea and use these kids in their promos! I'm sure they'd be MUCH better.

edk35,

Great story!:thumbsup2

Wish I was there to see his teachers face!

OMG - how cute would that be? Disney could spin the kids-in-the-know thing so many ways to make it work too. Themes such as "playground secrets", or the Husband & wife team "regressing to children" as they tour DVC's newest locations and then returning to adults with a spa activity etc. :rotfl:

And you know, if they just let the kids be themselves in addition to following a script (have to get the basic info out there), I bet they'd come up with material that's worth gold.

Bye bye DeeVee
