Well, I survived the busy night. The boys are exhausted. We ate Subway at the ball field. Very busy day indeed. I am finally resting before bed. I wanted to come on the boards to share some exciting news. I just signed up for the Walt Disney World Half Marathon!! I am so excited and nervous. I have always wanted to do a race and one in Disney is perfect. I have not ran consistently in several months due to my issues with pain and surgery. I started again last night. I got the email from runDisney and had thought about the 10K, but my friend at work talked me into the half marathon. I have nine months to train and I am so excited (and scared)!! I will need your encouragement though.

Just pray for cooler weather than I had this past year. Way too hot and I paid for it a little.

I need that original glee club shirt!! I love it!! And I love the Muppets pictures! I wish I were there enjoying it for real right now...I discovered a couple of days ago that squirrels have been nesting in my car and have completely chewed out the insulation and all of the wiring to and from my battery and some other things! Right now Im just praying i wont have to replace my car! Needless to say Disney pictures were wonderful to help cheer me up at the end of a rotten day! Even if miss Bella wouldn't smile with Bo! .

Normally she hams it up for pretty much anything, but I guess she wasn't up for it that day.

What a mess about the car! Glad we could help a tiny bit with some cheerful Disney things to offset that trauma. I sure hope it ends up being better than you think.

So in looking back at the pictures, this appears to have been a do nothing day for Jill's bunch. Her friends had gone to a park - although I don't know which one.

In the evening, we ate dinner at Caribbean Beach with our cousins. While we waited for them to get there, I took pictures.

The girls enjoyed coloring.

Here they are. I had a feeling that Sloan was really going to like this resort. The atmosphere, the music, and the 'nicerness' of it in comparison to Pop - it all seemed to fit what he would like. I was right. He didn't have any experience with other Disney resorts, as they are just becoming Disney fans, and he only goes on some of the trips. He smiled a lot that night and really did like CBR.

I will stop here for now, and hopefully tonight we will eat dinner here and finish our tour of CBR. Until then, crank up the reggae and have a good day, mon!

We stayed at CBR in December. It was very nice but I missed the value resorts. It just didn't feel "Disney" enough for me. I think we will stick with the values until I can afford the Contemporary. I would really love to stay there sometime, but that is probably not going to happen.

We like to go over there and eat. The food court has good chicken and vegetables. I love the atmosphere there, and I would love to have a CBR sunroom in my house.

They do have some cute merchandise, too - much fun to just browse!

It's nice to have Disney things at home. I think we are finished with winter now. At least, I hope we are.

I like the idea of split stays to get in a new resort. You get to stay at two resorts, and when you pack up for the move, it really helps the last day packing be much quicker - at least for me. I feel like there will be a Pop/CBR.

I got a pair of April ones. Since they are clear and go with everything and that's Bella's birth month, it was the perfect choice.

They are small. I hope you find them in the car. The good thing is, they are not too expensive to replace, but finding it would be so much better!

I took a longer walk around CBR on the March trip. I started at the front check-in building and walked across the bridge over to Port Royale. So, I'd say in about four months, we will get to those pictures and hang out at CBR again.

It is a happy, upbeat place. I really like the atmosphere there. I am glad you got to enjoy some sweet memories of being there through the pictures.

I know you probably just get used to it if you live there, but I don't see how you guys make it! I am glad I don't live any further north than I do, and I wouldn't mind living about 5-6 hours further south.

Resort-hopping is a great pleasure to me. I love looking at the flowers and decor, having different food choices, hearing the music, and just being in a different theme for a short time.

The kids were having a blast. With all the jumping and swinging, Parker got hit in the mouth with the hammock at one point, but he was fine after a few minutes.

White ibis. It would be interesting to know how many and what species of birds are all over Disney property.

In case you weren't aware, we have some people around DIStown who have a genuine fear of birds. I think they are fascinating, and I enjoy taking pictures of them, but I have never had any horrifying experiences with them like some others have. Some of our friends have been attacked in their younger years, and it has scarred them for life. Although I have no problem with birds, I can relate to the fear/phobia itself, as I am the same way with enclosed places.
