Guys pin drop Tuesday is not for the faint of heart! I ropedropped Animal Kingdom this morning to try and do the Haunted Mansion map set and what an experience. The line wasn’t horrible but Disney definitely got quite a lot of my money as I tried to complete the set! I did manage to complete it through some trades (by luck I got 2 of the chasers!) but wow, the adrenaline! :)

I went with family members last week to Disney Springs for the pin drop (which was the monthly Pooh pin) and the guy at the front of the line said he was there at 4:30 in the morning. The line went all the way to the end of the bridge past Rainforest Cafe/towards B.B Wolf. They gave out wristbands that were numbered and I heard that wristbands after 300-ish did not get a Pooh pin as they were sold out.

WOW! This was my first time doing it but the folks who’d done it before said that it was a light day, at least at Animal Kingdom.

The Pooh pin drops are where the craziness is according to the people I spoke to in line plus the security at Disney Springs. Last week's pin is selling for $150-200 on ebay right now so I'm fairly confident a large chunk of people in line were resellers. The pin drops on the Disney Store are also full of bots (that's my guess, not 100% sure). The Star Tours pin sold out so fast that I seriously doubt humans were fast enough to complete the transaction.
