So much for gracious winners

Let's talk about gracious losers. I tried to be a gracious winner and tell the McCain supporters I know I didnt belong in their threads, but I wanted to say I am sorry their candidate didnt win this election and I know how it feels and hopefully we can all come together. I thought I was being nice - but come to find out I was just a typical liberal gloating. :sad2:

Can't you just be happy your candidate won? Is that so hard to do?

You can put down the unhappy voters and all their stupid comments all you want, but why do so many feel the need to continue to bash McCain and Palin?
Bash the people who are bashing you, not the losers in the race.
It's over- you have no need to do so- it just makes you look immature.

Thank you. Well said.:thumbsup2

We were called so many rude and unthinkable things and now we need to just walk away and deal.

Okay.... :cloud9: Kumbaya milord KUMBAYA......

Pot... meet kettle. Not you specifically, but this thread is doing the same thing. You're right, it's over. McCain lost. I have the utmost respect for him, but he's not our president. It's time for everyone to move on and rally behind the man who will hopefully lead us in a new and better direction these next few years. Continuing to bash Obama and his supporters just because your candidate lost is the same as other people celebrating Obama's victory. You really can't make a point against something if you're a part of it yourself, even if it's on the other side :confused3

I'm confused by your post.

I AGREE that it's time for the losers to move on-and support Obama. AS I said before, feel free to insult those posters who are making stupid mean Obama comments........ I am adressing the Obama supporters who just want to continue to put down Palin and McCain today and make Palin jokes. Why is that necessary?
Maybe I just can't word what I mean correctly.
Does anyone understand what I am trying to say???

No, you do not need just to walk away and deal:rolleyes:

I just don't see the need to keep bashing the other candidates. Bash the people who are bashing Obama instead.

The same thing happened when Hillary lost in the primaries.....many sore winners came out to play...not all but many. Matter of fact...they kept Hillary in bashing her for weeks after :confused3 than as Hillary started supporting Obama she was there new bestest friend.

So far a number of threads have been poofed today.....started by OS's...

If McCain won I would be posting threads of being happy and not waisting my time starting threads to Bash Obama. Obama would be done. Just as McCain is...so why waist time...i don't get it.

Enjoy your win like this :cool1: :cheer2: :dance3: :yay: ....not like this :headache:   :scared:

Both sides are being babies, if you ask me. Why does everything hafta be one way or another? all or nothing?

This is an exciting time for America! The world is celebrating! I feel we are getting back a lot of respect we lost with Bush. Now is the time to be hopeful!

I agree! I'm not picking on Obama voters! I'm just wondering why it is McCain/Palin the Obama supporters are still making fun of. Make fun of the losing whinners, I don't care- I didn't vote for either side- I just wonder why there is a need to continue the McCain /Palin insults. I just as much dislike the posters insulting Obama supporters!!!!!

Just drop making fun of the losing candidates, please.

For the Obama supporters we have EVERY right to gloat "a little bit"

We put up with alot of nay sayers on here and said some very very nasty things.

He won though.................and as he said last night we need to come together, we may not all agree and thats okay but we need to stand together so we can become once again The Great America that we once were.

It's also amusing to me that when Mccain came on to give his beautiful and touching speech, when he mentioned Obama there were boos and "other" things that were shouted. THAT was totally uncalled for and you could tell that Mccain was annoyed by that.

When Obama mentioned Mccain, the Obama supporters applauded Mccain as we did sitting our living room.

We always respected Mccain and never took anything away from him as far as being a Great American.

However Obama will now prove how Great an American President he can be.

Okay.... :cloud9: Kumbaya milord KUMBAYA......

that went both ways....many OS from the beginning of this whole thing were nasty also starting with Hillary.....we were even chased out of the Liberal thread due to how nasty the OS were getting...so yes...on both ends...

And yes you won and that is great.....so move on ... should winning not be revenge enough for you :confused3

Come on go celebrate....UHG

I agree with you, but I also think that every time someone makes a post chastising one group or the other it will be continued.

Neither group is better or worse when it comes to insults, as they come from individuals not the groups as a whole. Saying that one is just puts one group or the other on the defense and encourages further divisiveness. :confused3

This is the problem with the PUMA movement. During the primaries, the Democratic party was in the middle of a tough fought primary on both sides. However, the majority of the Democrats who supported Hillary understood that and 90% of them came over to support Obama in the general election.

Meanwhile, the PUMAs decided that because their candidate didn't win, ego was more important than principle and, with a over inflated sense of collective importance, they did everything they could to trash Obama and, against Sen. Clinton's own wishes, tank the Democratic party's chances so Hill could run in 2012. That's why, but for the rightly disappointed GOP, your little lecture about playing nice falls on deaf ears.

Save it for someone who hasn't been paying attention...

I haven't seen any McCain bashing threads?? Or Plain bashing threads?? What is the OP talking about??

I haven't been one to get ugly on these threads. It's just not who I am. I am not attacking you here. But I can ask the same question. Why do some republicans continue to bash democrats and Obama? It makes them look immature too. It seems like sour grapes to me.

It is sour grapes...and what they are doing is wrong too!
I have no sides in this game.
If Obama supporters have no sour grapes, then are some of you just continuing to put down McCain/Palin for no other reason than to insult the bashers???

It's all becoming a big game of nanny nanny bo bo.

I haven't seen any McCain bashing threads?? Or Plain bashing threads?? What is the OP talking about??

Just look for certain posts in Obama threads.

Nobody seems to understand what I'm sayin', so "Can't we all just get along!?

I'm outta here!

... That's the unifying spirit, to declare our country officially "dead" because your candidate wasn't chosen?...

This is where you miss the point. People aren't declaring this country "dead" because a candidate wasn't chosen. Thay are declaring it "dead" because the philosiphies that built this country and made it great will now likely be abolished by the man who has vowed to do so.

I haven't seen any McCain bashing threads?? Or Plain bashing threads?? What is the OP talking about??

The only thread I saw was of the Wasilla Hillybillys, which I thought the title was rude. It is over, let's be done.

I am very glad Obama won, that's my opinion.

I have to say IRL that I haven't e-mailed anyone that I know to gloat, but just this am one of my friends who is a huge republican sent us an e-mail with the link to the black girl talking about her gas/mortgage, and feelling safe under Obama. It had a very rude caption and put down. So while I am not gloating, the other side can't stop either in some cases. IT really is a two way street, unfortunately.

I wanted to respond to my "friend" rudely, but my husband said to let it go and no response was a bigger response than responding! Silence speaks volumes.

But that's not why I went to McCain :confused3 had nothing at all to do with my ego...I also didn't want her to be his VP but nothing to do with her loosing her POTUS spot...

I just did not care about Obama....I went to McCain because I felt after all was said and done that he was the best choice for me

I stopped liking Obama soon after the start of the primaries....I am a Moderate DEm that can lean to the right or the left...and just because he is a Democrat does not mean that is reason for me to vote for him....or because Hillary said I should. I am socially Democratic and fiscally Republican....

Many OS hated Hillary and talked trash about her non stop....than when she started helping Obama she was all the OS new best friend.....go figure.

So dont turn around and assume that my ego is what got in the way.....your candidate did....and his far left stance.....

so you can save it for someone that will listen....okay

Sorry, read the WM Alex thread. We ARE allowed to call the candidates idiots, but not the posters! :lmao:

KumbaYA milord KUMBAYA.. EVERYBODY!! :dance3:
