So much for gracious winners

To be honest, some posters really asked to be bashed! They might as well have had a sign that said "bash me" taped to their posts. I could name a list of McCain supporters who were so on their high horses and said things like "mark my words -- Obama is going to lose." Well, I marked those words and I do feel like saying "HA HA!!"

Then, there's another poster who was so uppitidy and never posted anything intelligent and instead posted on the lunatic fringe, always on her high horse, always bashing Obama and practically calling his supporters idiots. If you are going to put your fists up, you better expect a licking to follow when you lose.

A few of the more classy posters came over to the Obama supporters thread and gave a congratulations while the arrogant ones were mysteriously gone last night. When people are taunted for months, you should expect some nanny nanny boo boos! Those arrogant posters are still bashing Obama and his supporters even today, yet are the first in line to whine about the bashing.

I haven't seen any McCain bashing threads?? Or Plain bashing threads?? What is the OP talking about??

We must've slept thru them...

Can't we all just get along? Let's unify this country and quit with the division and work together.

I just got done reading a thread that said the economy is getting worse because OB was elected, the markets went down again as usual but the blame was put on OB, go figure.

Get ready, the roller coaster ride has just started.

This is the problem with the PUMA movement. During the primaries, the Democratic party was in the middle of a tough fought primary on both sides. However, the majority of the Democrats who supported Hillary understood that and 90% of them came over to support Obama in the general election.

Meanwhile, the PUMAs decided that because their candidate didn't win, ego was more important than principle and, with a over inflated sense of collective importance, they did everything they could to trash Obama and, against Sen. Clinton's own wishes, tank the Democratic party's chances so Hill could run in 2012. That's why, but for the rightly disappointed GOP, your little lecture about playing nice falls on deaf ears.

Save it for someone who hasn't been paying attention...

It was not ego, it was the difference in both the candidates and their policies.Because of they treated Hillary, the party that existed before is dead and buried. Too many things have been said and done and I say say good riddance.

It's also amusing to me that when Mccain came on to give his beautiful and touching speech, when he mentioned Obama there were boos and "other" things that were shouted. THAT was totally uncalled for and you could tell that Mccain was annoyed by that.

I agree. While I voted for Obama, I thought McCain gave a very nice speech and thought it was cool how he told them to stop booing.

It's just ridiculous how people are acting. I don't want to elaborate because no matter what I tried to say people would find some way to rip it apart.

I really hope that Obama turns out to be a great president.
But that's not why I went to McCain :confused3 had nothing at all to do with my ego...I also didn't want her to be his VP but nothing to do with her loosing her POTUS spot...

I just did not care about Obama....I went to McCain because I felt after all was said and done that he was the best choice for me

I stopped liking Obama soon after the start of the primaries....I am a Moderate DEm that can lean to the right or the left...and just because he is a Democrat does not mean that is reason for me to vote for him....or because Hillary said I should. I am socially Democratic and fiscally Republican....

Many OS hated Hillary and talked trash about her non stop....than when she started helping Obama she was all the OS new best friend.....go figure.

So dont turn around and assume that my ego is what got in the way.....your candidate did....and his far left stance.....

so you can save it for someone that will listen....okay
You constantly attacked OS and would run to the conservative thread to complain about us. When the OS weren't even bashing HS, just the way Hillary was running her campaign. I think many of us who have always had so much respect for Hillary over the years were dissapointed in the way she handled things. I think only a couple OS "hated" Hillary or wouldn't vote for her. The rest were just dissapointed in her actions or just liked Obama better but would have supported her had she won the nomination.

I think Hillary's healthcare plan was much further to the left than Obama's, so it always makes me scratch his head when I see the PUMA's accuse Obama of this. :hippie:
