So many flowers, so little time! 3/13 So many choices so little time! Food updates!

Maybe you were in Italy drinking several glasses of Prosecco and that is why you have so many pictures :rolleyes1

I can't imagine that... ;) Actually, I believe it was this trip where my love the bellini (& Italian waiters) was born... :upsidedow

Oh those pictures are great C!!!!!!!!! I love the panda

I miss living in a climate where I could really grow veggies. When I lived in IL I had a "back 40" and a fully enclosed veggie garden (to keep those darn deer, skunks and other critters out). Here, if you are LUCKY, you'll get your tomatoes ready in maybe....LATE august. Or Sept. I'll still probably do one box full, and some herbs but that's about it. It's rather frustrating actually.
Half of my yard is a jungle..the other half...a nightmare of a slope that nothing will grow on (and irrigation is a really bad idea, much as I'd like it, from a slope stability standpoint).

It makes
Disney hasn't yet decided to make this a permanent offering but the CM I talked to seemed to feel like it was pretty likely to be made a permanent tour. I've read a few reviews now and it looks pretty cool. Although I am a little worried that I'll be the first person to test the limits of the harness & safety features. Not to mention the whole harness set up is not exactly attractive. :rolleyes1 If there's word of an accident in early May, you'll know it was me. :sad2:

Now that sounds like a Kodak moment. For all of us! They better make it permanent! I imagine though, it won't be offered quite as often once they do, sure would be nice to know.

I'm mentally creating my grocery list....but the question remains, are there blenders in the villas (or in anyones OL? :rotfl:)

If so...I'll make us a batch of Happydog's Lemon Fizzes (aka the Lemon creamsicle, aka a creamy slushie!). YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They beg to be had next to SAB.....

AllEars says that you can request a blender but they aren't on the standard appliances list.

I know I've seen the lemon fizz recipe lately but can't remember where - is it on your thread?

Sounds yummy to me!!!

YUM!!!!!

I spy a new ticker! :rolleyes1

where where?

I updated mine to show Jen (unlike the rest of you!) but do you mean your f&w one or am I just clueless? (entirely possible).

in the spirit of F&G I spent my whole day doing yardwork. BLEH!

I hope there is a cool windchime...that's on my souvie list.

:rotfl:

Seeing those F&GF pictures have me dancing in my chair! I cannot wait!!!! Sooooooo pretty!!!!

/
WOW those pictures of F&G are breathless!! I forgot how beautiful it was there during that time!! I so can't wait to get away and see it !!! The 29th is the last day of Texas State testing so after 3 whole days of that I'll be looking forward to a much needed break and time with the ladies and toparies sounds perfect!!!

In the spirit of our F&G trip I pruned for (I kid you not) 4 hours straight on Sunday.

It is, of course, supposed to finally start snowing today or tomorrow (haven't had any since Nov).

Murphy's law, I swear this happens every year when I finally do my fall pruning in Feb.

Oddly enough it only seems to make those plants more insane. Go figure.

The topiaries look awesome this year, as always, but that Woody one is incredible! I can't wait to see what he looks like when it is done!:)

May is creeping up girls....anyone getting excited????:yay:

SO excited!!!!!!!!! Those topiaries look amazing, I can't wait to see them live.

I'm so excited I just ordered new swimsuit cover-ups. :rotfl: As I plan to spend a LOT of time poolside. As Trish pointed out, I am due a SAB do over!

Actually I had an ulterior motive. After much sulking by my beloved hubby we decided we HAD to fit in a couples trip, sooner rather than later. So I'll be working on my tan before our girls trip!!! And, he won't be bitter while I'm gone. Very important! It's been a long time since we had a warm weather couples trip. We had a long weekend in May of 09 but it wasn't warm enough for much pool time or sand in as it's cool that time of year in San Diego and before that it had to be back in 2007! Long overdue.

So.....we are off to the Big Island of Hawaii on April 14th for 5 nights :cool1: My crankiness and relentless deal stalking paid off, with some help from my TA and we were able to swing it. Neither of have ever been to the Big Island before so we are pretty darn excited about it. Not as long as I'd like but with 2 trips that month and the cruise not to mention being negative on vacation days due to Jeff's dad's bday trip to PS and the Germany thing...I'm pushing it at work as it is.

Which then made birthday present shopping easy for Jeff, one cool new Hawaiian shirt picked up today!

Now to get the rest of me swimsuit ready.

And maybe look for a new park bag...:rolleyes1

How cool, Cynthia! Hawaii sounds amazing! Can't wait to hear all about it. Know exactly what you mean on getting bathing suit ready. :scared1:

Seriously! I've got 6 weeks :scared1: I'm hopeful with the new gym and schedule I should be able to make some headway, had a good weekend on that front (gotta LOVE being able to drop the kids at the pool, go work out, and then pick them up, talk about a win-win!) but baseball, which starts around the 7th could really complicate the schedule, it always does.

:car:Driving by to say we will be in Disney NEXT MONTH!!!

Cynthia....really awesome about Hawaii!! ::yes::

I need a Dis assistant I am so far behind everywhere!!

Yes! Really awesome Cynthia!!!!!! I had no idea!!!!! So cool! I have never been there. Went to NZ once and our return flight stopped in Tahiti, not Hawaii. But someday! ;)

I hear ya sister! If I miss a day I am behind!

I can't wait. Two more weeks until I start packing!

Two weeks until you start packing?!! :rotfl2: It will be about four before I start "mentally" packing :rotfl: I do, however have all of my OL stuff stashed in my basement. I have been accumulating the things I want over time. :thumbsup2

New bathing suit and cover up should be arriving today. :cutie: Actually the FedEx truck just pulled in to my work!! :rotfl2: I have a very good relationship with him and the UPS guy :rolleyes1

Tracy

:rotfl2: Me too, Tracy. My UPS driver knows my dog's name and brings her treats! Is that the sign of a problem? Or perhaps just laziness... I do usually get free shipping. :) I should think about a new bathing suit.

Next month! What a lovely thought! And I have a trip before that so time should fly right by!! I really can't wait for our trip. The F&G pictures look just gorgeous!

And speaking of our trip, we should think about telling any PTR readers we have left about our dining plans and the special event we have booked for the 3rd! :yay:

Next month!! :woohoo::dance3::woohoo:

OK - internet shoppers - I bought my bathing suit (in a store), but need a cover up. Cynthia gave me one website. Any suggestions?

I still need new tevas (I want a bright spring color), maybe a messenger bag (horrors - I am going to shed the backpack), and a swim suit cover up. Then I am good to go.

Yes - I am an obsessive packer. Sometimes I start 6 weeks ahead of time. Sad, but true. :sad2:

6 weeks???! :faint:Oh my MEK!!! :rotfl2:

I purchased a new coverup with my new suit from Tommy Bahama but I don't know about it....it's not really cover uppy enough !! :rotfl:

At Target in the juniors department I bought one of those that kind of look like a sundress....I bought one last year too and then another to leave in my OL.

Oh yes...the UPS man...I was at a garage the other day...we were dropping off a car and he saw me there and gave me my package then. :rotfl2:
